Catching up on the goss

(JJ's POV)
We sit down in the cafe, and look at the menu, as soon as I've picked it up I've put it down again,
"I already know what I'm having, I come here all the time"
"Hm, yea I know now"said Naomi
"Hmm....ooo yea I do now"a few mins later a waitress comes by, but i knew her
"R!!"i say rather loudly, she looks at me a bit more,
"Grace?"
"Yep!"she smiles I jump up and hug her,
"How you been?"she asks
"Been great, you?"
"Yep great"
"Here my new number"i give her a piece of paper with my number on it,
"Ok thanks"
"Meet, Blaze and Naomi"i point to them as I say their names, they wave
"Hi"says Blaze
"Hey"says Naomi
"Hi, I'm Rain"R winks at me quickly
"I call her R as a nickname"
"Oh haha"says Blaze, I sit back down and R takes our orders
"I'll have the strawberry shortcake slice and a diet coke please "I said
"I'll have the chicken salad wrap and a water please"said Blaze
"I'll have a lemonade and a ham sandwich please" said Naomi
"Uhmm...yep all done I'll be back in a minuet with your drinks"she smiled and walked off,
"She's nice"said Naomi
"Yes, very sweet"says Blaze, R comes back with our drinks and food
"Thank you"we all manage to say together, we laugh
"Your welcome"she walks off,
"So when you say you come here all the time is this were you met her?"said Naomi
"No, she was someone I met when I first came to japan"
"Ohh"said Blaze
"I also met Ryuzaki here..."I say a but quiet
"Aww you did?"said Naomi
"Yea"after a bit of chatting it was time to go,
"Hey, grace could I come with you??"
"Urm"Blaze and Naomi nodded their head "yea sure"she smiled and caught up with us,
"Thanks"
"No problem"after a bit of walking I spotted Beyond walking up to us,
'Oh no this isn't gonna go well...'
"Hey, grace isn't that your boyfriend Ryuzaki??"before I could do anything Blaze shouted his name and waved him over,
"Hey, Ryuzaki!!"he looked extremely confused, then R gave me a questioning look, I whispered into R's ear
"I'm dating L and they have met him..."
"Ohh ok"she replied, then Beyond walked up to R and kissed her
"Wha??"said Naomi
"This is-"
"I'm Ryuzakis bother, Rue"said Beyond who was butting in, R must if told him the situation
"Ohh ok"said Naomi
"Ok sorry Rue"said Blaze
"It's alright my dear"i looked at R and gave her a thank-you-for-saving-my-ass look she just laughed a little
"Their twins"i say, beyond wraps his arm around R's waist and they start walking, me, Blaze and Naomi get back into order and hold hands and walk
"Rue this is Blaze and Naomi"as I said their names I pointed to the right person they just waved and smiled
"Alright, hello ladies"then my heart sank there was red on Beyonds shirt I could just see it, I looked at R and she knew what I ment she stopped and kissed him, while she did, she removed the stain
"Aww"said Blaze and Naomi, R went red, we soon arrived at me and Lawliets apartment,
"Wait here I'll be back in two seconds"i quickly ran in and went to Lawliet
"Lawlie, hey, urmm, but messed up..."
"Why?"
"We bumped into R and beyond..."
"Oh"
"He's now your 'brother' and R's name is Rain and her nickname is R"
"Oh ok"
"I'll now let them all in you ok with that??"
"Yes- wait Beyond, R, Blaze and Naomi are here?"
"Yea sorry"
"No its fine"I walked to the door and let them in, Lawliet sat in a love seat how he usually sat, I sat on the end of the 3 seater, the side closest to Lawliet, Blaze and Naomi sat next to me, Beyond had R sat on his lap.
"Now you can see how Ryuzaki and rue look the same"i say as it's really awkward
"yea"said Naomi, then Blaze and Naomi started talking to each other then Beyond and R started having a conversation,
"So does anyone want anything to drink??"
"I'll have some tea"said Lawliet
"I'll have a coke please"said R
"Can I have some jam please?"
"You and your bloody jam Beyond!!"then I covered my mouth with my hand
'Shit!!'
"why did you call him Beyond?"asked Blaze, I face palmed
"We might as well as tell them the truth..."said Lawliet I looked up shocked
"Agreed"said Beyond
"Right first of all, Blaze, Naomi, if we tell you this you must swear not to ever tell anyone this could put all of our lives in danger"said Lawliet
"I swear"said Blaze
"I swear not to tell"said Naomi
"Ok good, right rues real name is Beyond Birthday, Rains name is just R, graces name is actually jackie, don't moan she only found out a few weeks ago"
"Is this true grace?"Blaze said looking at me
"Yes, but call me JJ and Beyond birthday either B, BB, or Beyond to protect us"
"The reason we need protecting is because we are detectives"said beyond
"I'm sorry not being mean I respect everything and all but I don't believe you"said Naomi
"I'm not a detective I just help from time to time"i said Lawliet sighed
"My name isn't Ryuzaki, I wont tell you my real name and this is because of one reason and that's because I am L"
"Excuse me but how can we believe that your L??"said Blaze, Naomi nodded
"Follow me"said Lawliet, they followed him to the study, it has everything in there, then I hear two loud thumps, I looked at Beyond with confusion, R was now stood up, me and Beyond ran to Lethe study Lawliet was stood their shocked and Blaze and Naomi laying in the floor,
"What happened??"asked Beyond
"They fainted when they saw everything"
"Oh"i relaxed and so did Beyond
"I'm soo sorry Ryuzaki!"I looked down
"Don't worry there was soo much fuss it was going to happen"i looked up and he pecked me on the lips, he picked up Blaze and Beyond picked up Naomi, they placed the girls on the bed,
"We better be going" said Beyond
"Oh alright bye sorry for everything today"i said
"No its fine don't worry"i smiled and hugged him
"Stay safe"i said then Lawliet wrapped his arm around my waist, R held Beyonds hand as they walk out
"Bye R"
"See ya JJ stay safe"then they walked out Lawliet waved, then I heard the girls wake, me and Lawliet went to them,
"OMG I cant believe your the L"said Blaze
"You cannot tell anyone it could risk my life"
"We wont"said Naomi
"I cant believe you didn't tell us"said Blaze
"I couldnt"
"Blaze, don't you understand this is 'the' L if someone knew his identity he could get killed"said Naomi
"Oh yea, sorry"
"No its fine"me and Lawliet say together we laugh
"You better go"i say
"Yea"said Blaze, they walk to the door
"We wont tell anyone"said Naomi
"Yea thank you see ya"
"Bye"i say then they walk out, we shut the door and I breathe in
"Woah stressful"then we walk to the living room, sitting down I turn the TV on,in flick the news on the my heart stops,
"Collage graduate, jackie vickers, is dead she was stabbed to death the early hours of today..."I turned the TV off and stood up holding back the tears, she's my old room mate,
"Lawliet, can you pull up this cases files please"i ask Lawliet as I point to the screen
"Yes but its only small"
"Yes I know but I want to have a look please"im trying my best not to cry,
"Alright"in about 5 minuets he pulls up the case files on the computer, I print off all photos and details to the body in the files, I lay them out on the floor and look at them, I look at one image and there is jam on the floor and there was something craved on her body it wasn't that noticeable but I noticed it, while I was doing this Lawliet was watching me, the he went to get a tea, I stood up clenching my fists,
'Beyond...he did this! He killed my old collage roommate'
I go to the door, put my shoes on
"Woah wait, JJ where are you going?"asked Lawliet I didn't answer, I ran out the door and sprinted down the stairs, I rang Watari, Lawliet gave me his number incase I needed him,
(Call convo)
Watari- hello?
JJ-hi Watari its JJ, can you pick me up and take my to Beyonds house please
Watari- yes of course when?
JJ- is now possible
Watari- yes of course I'll be there in a minuet miss JJ
JJ- thank you
(End of call convo)
I go to the bottom of the stairs, I waited outside for 2 minuets then Watari pulled up, I got in and we drove to Beyonds house, when we got there I thanked him and ran to the door, I knocked hard,
"Hey JJ whats wrong?"
"Is Beyond in?"
"Yes come in"I walk in and I stand in the living room,
"Hello, JJ wh-"I stop him by punching him,
"Woah stop whats he done?!?"asked R as she stood in the middle,
"Killed my best friend!!"then she took me to a bathroom to calm down,
"Right now explain"i push her back slip out the room and lock the door shut so she couldn't get out,
"Sorry R"i say as I run to the living room,
"Wait before you hit me, I never did anything"
"Really?!?"i pull out the photos from my pocket and shove them into his face "then why is there jam in the floor and a B carved into her side?!?"
"Oh..."
"Yea! SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND I SHARED A ROOM WITH HER IN COLLAGE!!!"i punched him in the jaw knocking him back a little, I punched his stomach making him lean over a bit, then I kicked his crotch making him fall to his knees, I then kneed him in the face three times he fell onto his side, then he pulled me by the waist down I fell over, and hit my head on the coffee table, I didn't care, he stood up and I did too, he punched my stomach, I punched his nose, I heard a crack and blood came gushing out, and he screamed in pain.

"I fucking hate you!!"i scream then he punches me in the face I fall back a little but regain my balance, he does it again knocking me onto the table it smashes, glass goes into my arm I scream in pain and pull it out, I punch him in the nose again he screams and grabs a bit of class he stabs my arm,
"AAAHHHHHHH!!"i scream, I kick him in the face, he punches me in the face I fall back onto the floor we froze when we heard,

"BEYOND STOP!!"I locked back and there stood in the doorway was Lawliet, Beyond was focused on him when I grabbed a large piece of glass and stabbed Beyond in the stomach, he fell to his knees on the floor on the glass screaming in pain holding his stomach, I stood up and round house kicked him in the head knocking him out cold on the floor, I heard a scream and turned around to see R in tears on her knees on the floor, I looked over at Lawliet he ran to Beyond, then R ran over, I looked at my hands,
'What have I done??'
I ran for the door and into the woods, I could hear Lawliet shouting my name, I ignored him and ran into the forest...

OMG, this was SOOO tense to write but it was fun, I wonder what will happen next??, is Beyond ok??. I hope you enjoyed this please keep reading...
