13.7| Family reunion

HOPE'S POV

It's been 3 days since I texted my family and they are all set to arrive today. Josie took a test and confirmed that she is pregnant. Caroline has been back as well so we asked her to meet us in Ric's office so we could tell them all together.

Josie: Hope I'm scared about what your family will say about me being pregnant.

Hope: Josie family means everything to us Mikaelson's and you are carrying the next generation my family will absolutely love you. We stick together Always and Forever and I plan on making you a Mikaelson in the future.

I say kneeling down in front of her.

Josie: Make that Saltzman-Mikaelson and you got yourself a deal.

Hope: Alright then Mrs.Jossette Saltzman-Mikaelson we have some big new to go give our family's so let's go.

I got up and helped her stand from where she was sitting on our bed. I held her hand as we walked all the way to Ric's Office. As we got closer I could feel Josie get nervous so I lifted her hand to my lips and gave her a gentle kiss there. I gave her a reassuring smile and opened the door to see my entire family sitting there along with Caroline and Ric.

I quickly got pulled in for a hug by my Aunt Rebekah and Marcel. Before being passed along to my entire family.

Hope: I'm so glad to see you all but I would appreciate it if you would take a seat so that I may explain some things about mine and Josie's mating bond before we share our big news.

Her family nodded and found themselves places to sit as Hope then proceeded to tell them about there bond.

Hope: So a few months ago I woke up to a pain in my stomach and I had to wolf out so I spent a good amount of time running when I came back I had shifted and found I had gone through some transformations. Part of the bond was to ensure that I would be able to protect Josie no matter what so I grew taller and I'm stronger too. The bond also has a means to ensure a powerful lineage.

Freya: How exactly is it going to ensure that lineage

Josie: And and all curses placed upon us that will force our line to be cut short have ended with us.

Hope: It also gave me a way to reproduce with Josie by giving me male parts when Dr. Saltzman was researching our bond we learned that Josie and I would have a cycle where all we would want to do is to make heirs.

Josie: There was an accident almost a week ago when I had my first transition into a wolf I also starting my heat. I'm pregnant.

The room was in absolute silence before my Aunt Freya stepped forward.

Freya: May I

She asked her arms towards Josie's stomach

Josie: yeah sure

I watched Aunt Freya chant a spell as her hands glowed above Josie's stomach. When she pulled away she turned back to the rest of my family and nodded confining that the child was indeed mine and Josie's.

Rebekah: Welcome to the family Josie. Well it seems we will stay in town a bit longer for Hope and Josie and the Mikaelson Mansion near by. We do hope we can get to learn more about you Josie.

I saw Josie nod as tears of happiness started to gather in her eyes.

She turned towards her parents waiting for what they would say.

Caroline: Oh honey I'm not mad. Sure this isn't ideal but you now have the joy of having a baby.

She said as she pulled her into a hug as Josie let out a sob. I looked up to meet Alaric's eyes.

Alaric: Well I can't say much I'm not happy about you getting Josie pregnant Hope but I guess it's my fault for not doing better at keeping you two apart during your rut and Josie's heat.

I'm smiled happy to be with my family and that it will soon be expanding with Josie bringing in our new addition.

Authors Note: Hey guys this is short but we meet the Mikaelsons and they know what's happening. I will not longer be writing this book along with much of the show because I am currently disappointed with how legacies is going. Updates shall be coming more frequently for the next week and please let me know how you feel about this book or if you want me to update so I can remember to write.
