After a long while of being passed out, your eyes fluttered open as you felt your muscles ache and pain swells upon you. You groaned as you slowly pushed your aching body up. Looking around, you noticed that you were in the guest room of Xingqiu's mansion."How did I end up here?" Your shoulders lowered as you tried looking for your phone. You found it on the bedside table untouched. You sighed in relief before grabbing it to look at random notifications.
"You just got up and you already are looking at your phone." A familiar voice muttered. Looking around you noticed Albedo seating by the solo small couch by the left side of the room. In front of him on the tea table seated a coffee that he usually drinks.
(Ew coffee. This author hates coffee but eats coffee jelly and coffee crumble.)
"Well-" You were cut off when Albedo stood up and went near you. You were growing nervous with every step he takes because it felt like he's angry at you instead, you were met by a soft and loving embrace from the man.
"I- I- I was so worried," Albedo muttered with sobs in between. Your heart warmed at your friend's embrace. You muffled your head onto the gap between his neck and shoulders as the man pats your head with his right hand while holding you tighter. You can feel his hot tears flowing from his eyes making you think how much you worried your friend.
"S- she's awake!" You heard another shout, knowing fully well it was Chongyun who suddenly went by you and Albedo. You separated from your friend and faced the light blue-haired man with a soft smile. "Hello, Chongyun."
"You had me worried when that old man brought you here unconscious." He mumbled quietly but enough for you to hear. You chuckled and your attention went onto the two people by the door which was left unopened. One was your known friend Xingqiu and one was your known uncle who has long brown hair with light streaks by the bottom.
"Uncle Zhong Li!" You exclaimed excitedly before embracing the big man. Even if your age is a bit close, you still respected the fact that he's your uncle. For a man his age, he's pretty much a boomer but you paid no mind, he's cool.
"It was great to see you well, (Y/N)." Zhong Li said while patting your head in the embrace. "I was so worried when you called me and all I have heard are whimpers and heavy breaths."
"Wait you were the one I called?" You asked confused while you let go of your handsome uncle.
"Indeed. I had to contact my boss to help me find you, and a traveller helped me track you." He crossed his arms as he explained what happened. "When we found you, I called your friend, Albedo, for I know he's a doctor and I have no mora to pay for one. However, that makes me question, what were you doing in the Guili Plains alone, and what happened?"
From there on, your eyes widened. You remembered how an orange headed man attacked you and Xiao. Xiao... He's more hurt than you. He got stabbed and endured more pain than you did. You can't help but sweat nervously while fidgeting and shivering in fear for your boss. What if he's dead? What if he is now in the afterlife? Did he ever feel as if he's free to go? Was he happy for more than a thousand years? Was he satisfied to leave this world after the pain you saw in his eyes?
"Hey... Are you alright?" You heard Xingqiu ask you. You shook your head while tears are streaming down. "I need to see Xiao."
You grabbed your keys and necessities before going out but was stopped by your uncle grabbing your arms. "If you are leaving at least allow us to accompany you, may it be us or even one of us?"
You sighed knowing full well that you have no choice but to agree or else these three will trap you in this room. You only let your uncle come with you and he decided to drive you to your destination.
