As much as you tried to believe that you have no fated ones, there is still something inside you that tells you not to believe in the red string of fate that showed up at your pinky. However, despite having to repeatedly summon it, the red thread is still cut off from your pinky.

"Why can't I have someone fated for me?" You groaned as you lay down on your bed. A knock on your door was heard, and opening it was Albedo dressed in a casual outfit. "Hey (Y/N), they said that we'll go to the park and meet your ex-boyfriend, Bosacious, for an interview."

You raised your eyebrows at him. You remembered that Bosacious was your boyfriend for a year, but you both broke it off because you cannot see the future with each other. He pursued his dream to become a national martial artist. Even though he was an ex, both of you ended everything on good terms, you want a good catch up with him so why not join Albedo for his interview?

"Xiao? What are you doing here?" You asked your boss who you and Albedo suddenly met at the harbor wherein you all agreed to meet. You were standing at the bridge near the sea with Xiao as Albedo came to fetch Bosacious.

"Am I not allowed to go to parks?" Xiao asked raising an eyebrow at you. "No, it's just that, you rarely go here at Liyue Harbor. So, I thought I wouldn't see you here." You mumbled as you looked before the sea. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, me and Albedo are going to meet my friend, well...ex-boyfriend, but we're just friends right now." Xiao rolled his eyes when you mentioned Albedo and that ex-boyfriend of you. Well, clearly he's NOT jealous. Yeah... Not jealous...

You looked at Xiao who suddenly went quiet. His blueish-green hair flew with the winds, loose white dress shirt that had three buttons open flying along, his brown pants matched his overall outfit, to add, he has a gold chain on his neck and black shades that are on his head rather than his eyes. He looks...hot. 

Xiao smirked when he saw you checking him out. He acts nonchalant about your stare but deep inside he's fucking freaking out. He seriously just wants to be near you so he went to the park, and knowing that Albedo will be with you, he showed up with an outfit that will definitely make you look at him. Even if it meant showing his...chest. 

"(Y/N)!"

A sudden voice that is highly familiar from Xiao's ears was heard. "Oh! Hey Bosacius!" You called. A black haired big man cam, purple streaks were seen in his hair. A face oh so familiar to Xiao , a past that he almost forgot but came back.

You felt strong winds come, you stopped and noticed Xiao just standing and glaring a Bosacius. Almost falling, you saw that Xiao closed his fist as if he hates Bosacius with all his might. The winds grew stronger and stronger as Bosacius came closer to you by the bridge. Suddenly with a strong gush of winds, Bosacious falls to the water, leaving his body bag onto the land. Xiao was just standing glaring with tears almost falling down his eyes.

You looked at Xiao then at Bosacius who's struggling in the water, as he does not know how to swim.. You shook your head before jumping down the water saving Bosacius from drowning, you pushed Bosacius' body up while Albedo helped pull him up.

The strong winds made it hard for you to push Bosacius up. You were slowly losing your strength, as Bosacius successfully was on the land, your strength was lost and you fell down the water. The last thing you heard was Albedo calling your name before you passed out.

Xiao on the other hand, disappeared without a trace with the bag of Bosacius with him. He looked at the ID and gripped it as he looked at Bosacius' face. Tears were in his eyes as he leaned on the bus window on the way to Hotel Wangshu.

It was all a bloody mess, a man standing by the middle of dead bodies, the smokes of darkness covered the kingdom of Minyun Village, another man stood behind.
