"If I were to choose between a angel and a devil, i'd choose the devil because the angel may sacrifice me to save the world but the devil will protect me as his greatest treasure for I would be his personal heaven "
"Come on Xander please" the little girl practically begged her husband
"No means no baby" the 'cold meanie of a husband' denied
"B-but" Evelyn started, not forgetting to widen her already wide doe eyes
"Those eyes aren't going to work this time baby" the older man spoke with his wavering voice, avoiding his dove's eyes
"You sure?" the angel asked stepping closer to her husband
"ASK LUCAS" yelled the husband in desperation, throwing his brother under the bus
"Ok" Evelyn said, knowing her plan had worked half way now all that's left is getting Lucas to agree.
"I'm sorry my brother Lucas" the older man said looking at his wife as she walked away to her next prey.
______"No" the husband bluntly refused
"But Lucas, you didn't even hear what I'm asking permission for" Evelyn tried to reason with her husband, once again widening her eyes even more.
"You didn't need to" Lucas stated, smiling softly at his baby wife. Evelyn tilted her head in confusion, causing Lucas to soften even more at his wife's cuteness.
"You are fidgeting with the butterfly necklace your mom gave you, which you only do when you're nervous and you only give me that look when you are about to ask for something I normally wouldn't approve of" Lucas explained to his angel.
Evelyn was left speechless and shocked as even she didn't know she was fidgeting with her necklace.
"uhh..." the little girl tried starting
"yes baby girl..." her husband teased
"umm..." Evelyn tried once again, still stunned with her husbands explanation
"I'm all ears" Lucas kept teasing
"YOU LOVE ME SO SAY YES" Evelyn exclaimed out of nowhere, surprising her husband, who wasn't expecting the sudden outburst.
"If it means that much to you then you have my approval angel eyes" Lucas said while handing his beautiful wife a glass of water, seeing as she was breathing heavily after her outburst.
"Thank you!" Evelyn exclaimed, hugging her husband after drinking her water, smiling brightly.
"Now mind telling me what I approved of?" Lucas asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Umm..." Evelyn started, fidgeting with her necklace
"Evelyn" Lucas called out sternly yet still somehow gently. Evelyn let out a sigh.
"Ok but you have to remember that you and Xander already said yes to your lovely little wife who loves you more than anything in the world" Evelyn said looking at Lucas with her puppy eyes, trying to melt him as much as possible.
"Oh no" Lucas let out, looking worried for his near future.
"Why oh no?" Evelyn asked feigning innocence
"You're buttering me more than your friend butters her toast" the older man stated
"It's not that bad" Evelyn said avoiding her husband's eyes
"Evelyn" Lucas warned once again
"Ok" Evelyn sighed
"My friend, Janette and her roommate are going on a road trip but they need someone to take care of their puppy so she asked me and I said yes" Evelyn said looking down, once again fidgeting with her hands
