Evelyn POV

"Huh? I did tell him he looks good in suits but to be completely honest he looks good in everything he wears" I said on the phone while giggling

I could hear Lucas' beautiful laughter from the other side

"did it work?" I asked after hearing the door shut

"of course it did angel, it was my idea after all" Lucas said proudly making me giggle at his silliness

I wonder if it's still called narcissism when they're right

"all of that aside i miss you so much my angel" he said playfully crying (fake crying)

"aww i miss you too i wish i could see you guys but i'm still not allowed out of the house yet since someone ahem ahem you 2 ahem ahem teased me into sneaking out at midnight since they couldn't wait to see me" I complained to Lucas while emphasizing 'someone'

"ok ok it's our bad don't be upset anymore" he replied sounding mortified

it was so embarrassing to explain to my father why i was out so late

what was i supposed to say 'hey papa i went out to meet my 2 special friends again but this time at midnight because they couldn't wait to see me and to be quite frank i also couldn't wait to meet them since every time i encounter them i drool at how gorgeous they look'

it also didn't help that the last thing papa said before going back to sleep was

"If you want to get married they'll have to go through certain tests and wait at least 2 more years. You know it's illegal to get married at 16 right."

I shivered remembering the embarrassment

"angel?" came his voice breaking me out of my thoughts

"yes" i replied

"do you miss us so much you turned speechless?" Lucas teased

"no but i do miss you guys" I said with sincerity this time

"don't be glum sweetheart who knows you might see us sooner than you think"

there seemed to be a double meaning behind his words but I didn't understand them

all of a sudden i heard a 'bang' on the other side

"what happened are you ok?" i hurriedly asked getting worried

"no it's fine angel me and Xander are both ok" Lucas replied quickly probably sensing my growing concern

"Xander is with you" I asked after calming down

didn't he go somewhere out of embarrassment

"ya he came back while you were going on about how much you miss us" he smuggly replied turning my face red

before i could reply or even attempt to reply i was startled by some noise

it seemed to be coming from my bathroom

I subconsciously started backing backwards till i hit my window door

I didn't even notice when my phone had dropped from my hands

before i could pick my phone up the bathroom door slowly opened and 2 dark figures walked out

without thinking it through i jumped out of my window
