Chapter 3: WHY NOT

SAGES POV:                                  It's 5:46 a.m and I'm just getting home from my morning run. I quickly make myself a breakfast and get ready for my 30 minute drive to school. I first stop at A coffee shop for my morning coffee. I'd simply be dead all day without my coffee. I start driving to school while listening to my Jams(IFHY - Tyler the creator) I start thinking about that girl Willow. She was a bit strange which made me want to be friends with her even more. She was wearing Sunfire Patchwork Lounge pants(look up to see the pants) with a crotchet white crop top yesterday. Which is why I called her a hippie. She didn't seem to mind.....After my 30 minute drive I arrived to what Willow calls "hell" . I spot her inside her bronco so I park right next to her. She's got a really nice vehicle. I wave at her and she waves back. She gets off her car and walks towards mine. She then gets into my car and smiles. "Hey" I say "Hey" she returns "Ima take a nap okay ? Wake me up when your getting out" she says "I laugh and say "okay" laughing

Today she was wearing a vintage sweater with some baggy pants

I'm not one that usually makes friends this fast.

After sitting in the car for 10 minutes a girl comes up to the car and says " Hey my names Jaz , what's your cutie?" making me wanna cringe so hard I say " Uh yeah no " rolling up my window trying to prevent her from waking Willow up. Jaz starts to knock on the window really loud so I roll down the window angrily
"What?!"
" I didn't quite catch your name"
"My names Sage , can i now put my window up before you wake her up "
Jaz then looks over and sees Willow and says " Omfg is that Willow , what a whore"
I then roll up my window
Willow now with her eyes wide open , opens the door and steps out and says " what'd you say about me" Jaz then says " you heard what I said .... Everyone is now looking at Jaz and Willow and Start to make comments on Willow.
"Why is she acting all tough"
"She's so annoying"
"Who does she think she is"
I then notice Willow hyperventilating and shake. She looks at me and starts crying.Everyone is still looking at her. I then step out of the car and grab Willow by the shoulders and lead her into the car trying to comfort her.
"I know I hardly know you but would you like to talk about it ?"
She then says no and continues to cry
I try to comfort her my keeping her in my arms
Jaz still in front of my car glaring at her with a smirk on her face
I step out and ask "what the hell was that for?"
Jaz then says" she's such a drama queen"
Let's just say she's lucky she's a girl

After calming Willow down and everything she looks up at me and says "I feel ridiculous right now, I'm sorry you saw me like this" I then rub her shoulder and say " Don't worry about it , i always have a shoulder you can cry on"
She then says " you hardly know me , why are you being so nice?"
"I don't know" I say
I actually don't know why

10 minutes later school starts and I'm in English with Willow who is now arguing with Mr. Johnson " I already told you Willow get your face out of my sight I ain't putting in this assignment it was due 10 days ago!" Mr Johnson Exclaims. "Mr I'm gonna sue you" Willow says
I laughed
Mr Johnson just rolled his eyes
Willow stomps over to our desk
" can you believe this man?" Willow says looking at me
" Unbelievable" I say with a smirk on my face

That smirk was the hottest thing I've ever seen
BACK TO SAGE POV >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A boy then approached Willow and put his arm around her waist , Willow looked uncomfortable and the mystery boy says " Damn Will you got hot not gonna lie"
"Come to daddy"
"Let me get some of that"
"Since when we're you hot"
Willow then removes mystery boys arm from her waist and says " Kaden leave me alone please don't start" This boy was like 6'2 a bit shorter than me but still tall , he was a blonde and was carrying a bag that said Football on it so I'm guessing he's on the football team. Psh.
I then got out of my zoned out session and saw that Willow was struggling with this boy and I decided to speak up " yo man what's your problem she's asking you to leave her alone"
" Who tf are you to talk to me"
"Dude im not looking for trouble , just let go of her "
" no man i called dibs , she's mine "
I then felt rage and anger from that comment
How can someone call dibs on a human that's just fucked up
" let go of her" I say as I yank her away from him.
" Fuck off " she says to him
"bro im warning you leave now" I say
My hands still on her waist
Kaden then steps in front and now we're facing each other face to face. Me being a little bit taller than him. He takes the first swing . Missing
I then punch him knocking him to the floor.

Detention
Yeah so I got detention and so did Kaden and Willow. I tried to get Willow out but she I guess broke dress code yesterday and got detention today or something like that.
Kaden got 3 weeks of detention for touching Willow and I got only one day.
I was sitting in detention doing absolutely nothing just waiting to leave.Willow was no where to be seen.
Kaden either
Wait
I then rush out but then notice Willow on the floor crying with  a red mark on her face
That asshole
I then see Kaden and exiting the boys bathroom and I tackle him to the floor. Not wanting Willow to see I tell her to go into the classroom
I then proceeded to beat up Kaden
After the beat up i called over Willow and took her to my car. We stayed in there for a bit as a stroked her cheek due to his hit. " why is he like this to you"
"story for another time" she says with a fake smile
" wanna come over to my house and watch a movie" she says
Why not
"Yeah sure" I say
I then followed her to her house as she's driving
We pull up to her house and We get down
We enter her house and she starts going up stairs I wait down stairs because I don't know if she wants me to go up with her.
I look around and notice a bunch of plants .But i mean like    a lot    of plants. It looks really beautiful though.
She then comes down with some Pjays and
she looks absolutely cute
We then end up watching a movie and I leave her house around 10 p.m
