Uncommitted
The drop of rain hanging precariously on
To the tip of the leaf, in the early morn,
Undecided, whether to stay or fall,
Hug the leaf or kiss the knoll.
Quivering, shivering, in the gentle breeze
Holding on tenuously, all thought on freeze,
Will it hold on to the leaf that’s home
Or dare to embrace the vistas unknown?
