Molly had slipped away to spend time with her horse, Patch. She'd had Patch ever since he'd only been a week old. His mother had died when he was shy of 6 days old. The stables he'd been born in had tried for a day to help him, then Molly had turned up one morning to take a look at another horse, only to meet Patch and instantly fall for him. She'd taken him, assuring the stable owners she knew exactly how to help him. And from there, a bond was formed and Molly had ended up being the owner of a magnificent 17hh Skewbald Nokota named Patch.

Patch was now 5 years old, and the best jumper in the whole of Worthing Stables. There were very few people Patch didn't trust, and for good reason. Patch was a very reasonable horse. He spooked at very little and did as he was asked. Patch had carried Molly through competition after competition since he'd been old enough to. And each time, he always won. Molly had worked really hard with Patch, and as a result, Patch was a top notch horse and Molly was a top notch rider. Molly loved her horse. The two had a really tight bond. Molly never rode any other horse. Not after she got Patch. She just felt weird riding anyone other than Patch. Molly had named Patch partially because of the patches all over his skin - his markings - and because her favourite movie was Patch Adams.

Molly was normally easy to find because of her love for her horse. If she wasn't riding him, she was either in the field with him or somewhere near his stable cleaning his tack. So when the Dapheny's went looking for Molly, they were pleasantly surprised to find that everyone had said the same thing. With Patch. And because the four had already been to meet Patch, they all knew exactly where to go.

The four made their way cheerfully towards the three horses and the other teenage girl.
"Oh hey Molly," Lark waved.
"Fancy seeing you here," Emily joked. Chuckles all around. Molly looked down at her feet for a brief moment, moving a piece of dirt around with her foot before looking back up and smiling warmly.
"Oh hey guys. Fancy meeting you here," she replied, her smile bright and welcoming.
Lark and Emily moved to stand beside Molly whilst Klaus and Diego moved to stand either side of their daughters.
They'd all ended up looking into Patch's stable.
"He's beautiful," Lark said after a moments silence.
