A truck pulled up along a gravel road and pulled into park alongside another car. The truck had a big trailer pulling along behind it. The trailer was a deep red colour with a black horse emblazoned on the side of it. There was a long window along the side, near the roof, of either side of the trailer. There was a small window at the back on the doors at the back of the trailer. When looking inside you could see two huge horses' bottoms. One was a deep chestnut colour, and the other a deep brown almost black colour. The tail on the chestnut horse was thick and wavy, the tail on the black the same. The manes on the two horses were thick, fluffy and slightly wavy.
From the drivers side, a man stood out. He was 6ft 4 and wore a plaid shirt and denim trousers. Out of the passenger side stepped out another man of similar height, 6ft 6, and wearing a similar type outfit, plaid shirt and denim trousers. Both men wore army boots, tied tightly with a bow. Out of the back of the car came a two small girls stepped out. They stood at 5ft 4. Their hair was pink, curly and shoulder length. They both wore pink plaid shirts, pink and purple jodhpurs, and knee high riding boots. The first man, the one from the drivers' side, turned and locked the car and went to the trailer and opened the doors. The two girls went behind the trailer and stepped inside, walking up to their horses' heads and untying the horses from the bar in their trailer.
They had tied their horses to the bar in the trailer to allow the horses a feeling of comfort and safety. They lead their horses out, one by one, out of the stable, gently turning them around once outside of the trailer. They gently spoke to their horses as the walked out and turned around. The chestnut horse stood slightly higher than the brown horse. Only half a hand higher.
"That's a good boy Scott," one of the young girls said as she hugged the neck of the big chestnut horse.
"Good boy Ben," the other girl said happily as she hugged the neck of the big brown horse.
The other man, the one from the passenger side, walked softly over and stood beside the shorter man, wrapping a hand over his shoulder lovingly.
"Those two sure do well in the trailer," the taller commented, the shorter nodding in agreement, as they watched the twins hugging, patting and softly talking to the two horses.
"Lets take them in and meet the stables," the shorter of the men smiled, closing the doors to the back of the trailer. Everyone else nodded in agreement and followed the smaller of the two men as they walked down a path, the twins clutching onto their horses, smiling excitedly.
Just as the small group turned the corner, they were welcomed by a bustle of people doing all sorts of things; grooming, sweeping, tacking, even riding. A women stood calmly at the curve, reading over something. She looked up as she heard the footsteps of the four humans and the hoof clops of the two horses, smiling brightly. She reached out a hand, smiling brightly and welcoming.
"Hello! You must be the Daphenys, I'm Rosie Orchard. Lovely to meet you,"
