Patch whinned. At least that's how it sounded to Molly. The twins turned and looked at Patch ad I he'd said something in human English.
"Hang on. We'll ask Ben and Scott," Emily smiled before moving from the stall and moved to Scott's. Leaning in she said, "Hey Scott. Want go the beach today?" With this, Molly was surprised at the fact the girl got a response. Molly noticed Lark had moved to Ben's stall and had asked him the same question, also receiving a response from the four legged being. The twins nodded, moved back to Patch's stall and poked their heads in. This time it was Lark who spoke.
"Sounds like a go. Oh wait. One more thing," she said with a smile before turning to Molly. "Fancy taking the horses to the beach today?" She asked. Molly found herself nodding before she had taken in what had actually happened.

10 minutes later, the three horses were tacked up and being ridden down the path to the beach. The stables is not far from the beach in all honesty. Its a five minute walk, and the road isn't very busy. Klaus and Diego are walking beside the girls on foot. They fancied joining them and the girls didn't see a problem with it.
"What do you fancy eating for lunch today?" Lark asked the general group. The girls hadn't yet spoken about what had happened in the stables 10 minutes prior. Molly figured it was a better time than any to bring it up.
"Um. Honestly, I was just gonna go to Tesco and pick something up later. Never mind lunch. Wh-what happened in the stables? When Patch whinnied and you guys started going on about the beach?" Molly asked politely. The twins had never really discussed it with anyone before, so being asked about it kind of cane as a shock to the pair of them. They found themselves fumbling for words.
"Well........" Emily started before abruptly stopping, realising she didn't have quite the right words to explain it.
"We can basically understand and talk to animals," Lark offered up as an explanation. Emily gestured to her sister and nodded.
"Pretty much yeah," Emily agreed with a soft smile. The twins hoped this would work.
It did.
Molly nodded as she processed what she had just heard. She noticed that Klaus and Diego seemed completely unaffected by the whole thing. So she turned her attention to the two men and tilted her head to the side.
"How long have they been able to do that? Talk to and understand animals?" The girl asked the two men.
"Since they were babies," Klaus said, smiling gently. Diego nodded.
"They're while lives they've done it," Diego confirmed with a smile. Molly nodded.
"Ok. Cool. That's actually really cool. Does anyone else know about it? Like at school and stuff?" was the next question out of Molly's mouth. The twins nodded.
"And we've been tortured for it. Not like strapped to the wall or anything. Tortured as in bullied horribly." Lark offered.
"Some days we don't even leave the library it's that bad," Emily laughed nervously. Molly nodded before holting all questions on the topic. Choosing a lighter topic, Molly steered the conversation to favourite TV shows. The twins were grateful for it. Klaus and Diego even chipped in on the conversation.

Sorry for the short chapter. 😅😅. I wasn't sure what more to do with chapter. I hope everyone had a lovely Halloween (I know it was nearly two weeks ago but still. I hoped you enjoyed it despite covid). Happy remembrance Sunday. I know I'm two days late but still :)
