Carla Robinson"Hey, Carla! wait for me!" Amber dashed in from the school's main entrance. We walked down the stairs towards our building. Since middle school, Amber and I have been best friends; she was the first person to approach me and has always stood by my side during difficult times.
I looked at Amber dishevel tie and skirt, "what happen to you? your tie is crooked and your skirt is not even. Let's go to the toilet" I dragged Amber to the toilet and fix her school uniform. Today's first subject is Biology, which is a subject that I am very intrigued by. Amber assumed I chose the subject because my ex had done so as well. Guess not, I pick bio because it was the subject that makes me feel proud of my grade. Can't help but brag about my grade because I have always been at the top of the class.
"I woke up late this morning since my alarm didn't go off" Amber answer my question. As we walked out of the toilet, our two other friends stand right in front of us. "Hey! straight to the toilet right in the morning" Voilet comment.
"Can't help it, Amber was a mess this morning. Can't let Lucas see her like that" I said and just walked up the stairs to our lockers since I don't want to be late for my first class. As I got to the second floor of the building, Anthony stands right in front of my locker waiting for me.
"Move" I simply said one word at him. All my friends already got to their lockers and also finish taking all their books and other things for class. Anthony stared at me and then he looked at my hand.
"Did you throw it away?" Anthony asked with a disappointed face. I know what he meant by that question, but I don't want to answer his question so I evade it. "Move, I need to get my stuff" I repeat my words again.
All of a sudden Anthony pulled my wrist up and ask me again "the anniversary bracelet". I just stared at my wrist and he still holds it tightly, "yea, i threw it". There's no point in lying anyway since I did throw it away. Anthony and I started dating for two years, we got together through group hangout. He approaches and starts courting me, I didn't consider dating him at first. But he got more persistent, there is also a good side to him. Compared to his friends, Anthony is more serious and a bit more mature. However, things don't go right, it was partly my fault as well. I wasn't committed to him, the relationship just start from my annoyance to his flirting. I dated Anthony without thinking about his feelings, I wasn't the best girlfriend for him. So we keep having fights and arguments, then I decide to break it off. Anthony was a great boyfriend but he's at a disadvantage dating me. I decide to let him go because there are other girls that want him and will also do him justice for his feelings.
Anthony wasn't ready for the breakup, he keeps telling me that he will give me all the space I need. Everything ends, there is no turning back, even if we are together nothing will change. "so you really moved on hah?" Anthony looked at me in the eyes, his expression darkens as I nod my head. "we're done Anthony, go find someone better and forget about me" I said the things that always cross my head.
Anthony walked away with his head hung low, his aura was gloomy. I sigh in response to his posture, I quickly take my books out and rush to class. While my best friend left me for their own safety. Our bio teacher is very strict, if you were to be late for class, you will do push up. No one wants that early in the morning.
"sit here Carla!" Erina waves her hand at me to sit next to her. I instantly walked to the table and take a seat.
"spill the tea girl! what is with Anthony?" Amber asked with sparkling eyes. She is more interested in my love life than her crush on Lucas.
"Just reminiscing" I replied shortly. "so how's work, Violet?" I changed the topic because right now I don't feel like talking about Anthony.
