Three weeks have pass since I'm in a relationship with Carla. We both are busy with our own schedule that we didn't have time to be with each other except at home. Now I'm grateful that Carla lived in my house.
Oh shit, the author totally forgot about a crucial character, Victoria. Actually, Victoria have been very supportive of Carla during her exams. We have been eating dinner together way before I asked Carla to be my girlfriend. Victoria have been our chef for more than a month.
Lately, Victoria have been busy traveling after she finish her university. Well, that's enough of Victoria life story. Carla and I video call her the other day to tell her about our relationship.
Starting today, I finally have one week break from work. So I decided to surprised Carla with a dinner date at her favorite omakase(Japanese food). Tomorrow will be another surprise as well.
Now I'm on my way to pick Carla up from her workplace, which is Louis's store. That guy have been busy traveling for business meeting and his corporation meeting as well. But I hear news that he frequent the store at Grandale shopping mall(the one Carla's work at).
"How's work babe? Tired?" Carla just finish her shift and now she's in the car with me. I texted her that I'm at the parking lot.
"Yes, very. It's been a busy morning today" I can Carla looks a bit worn out, she didn't even bother about her hair.
"Are you up for dinner? I booked us a table at your favorite omakase place" Carla looked at me with her eyes wide open.
"Really? Really? You're kidding right? It's so expensive and the booking is always full" This is what I want to see, I want to see her bright smile. The girl I love is always happy with whatever she received, but that makes me want to spoil her more.
"Yes, really. We're going back home for you to freshen up first before dinner. No rush, we got plenty of time" Carla never takes her time in getting ready but I don't want to rush her.
"Then let's quickly go home, I'm starving after hearing about our dinner place" haha, my cute Carla.
As we got home, Carla rush to her room and I walked behind her.
"Surprise" I'm currently recording a video of her on my phone.
Carla gasped and cover her mouth, she turn around and suddenly gives me a hug.
"How come you're so sweet? thank you babe" I kiss her cheeks and Carla give me a kiss on the lips. I decorate Carla room with flowers, pictures hanging on the walls and books scatter around her bed. By the way, it is all Carla favorite, it is from her list of books to buy. Then there's a big envelope in the middle of her bed.
"You're welcome. Open it, I want you to see what's inside" I urge Carla to open the envelope.
"Oh my god, you're kidding. Are we really going tomorrow? Are we really?" Carla is holding two tickets to Universal Studio.
"Do you like my surprise?" I kiss her forehead and Carla just look at me with sparkly eyes.
"Super, duper, happy. Come one babe, let's get ready for our dinner tonight" Carla quickly got ready and I waited for her in the living room.
"You looks so beautiful" Carla came over to the living room in her white frills mini dress.
"Thank you babe, now let's go" Carla hold my hand and we walked to my car.
During dinner Carla always have a bright smile on her face. Seeing it makes me realize that having Carla in my life, my world looks more vibrant.
At this moment, I know what my future would look like. I finally understand how it feels to love someone, to want to be with someone. I used to fear being in a relationship too early. I'm scared that I won't be able to commit in a love that need sacrifice. My work is important but Carla is my first priority.
