Chapter 21

*Niall's POV*

Stephanie and I were done changing so we headed to Dave and Busters in a taxi.

I was wearing a black sweater with khaki jeans and black and white Adidas.

I look to my left to see Stephanie applying makeup on herself.

"What are you doing?" I asked, she looked slowly at me.

"I'm putting makeup on, why?" She replied.

"You don't have to do that, you look perfectly fine Steph," I told her grabbing whatever she had in her hand and putting it away.

She smiled, "Thanks? But it makes me look prettier."

I shook my head, "You already do."

I saw her face turn red and I smiled.

"Here we are, lovebirds." The taxi driver told us as he stopped in front of the place.

"Ha, um, we don't go out," Stephanie stated getting out the car.

"Sorry, you guys make a nice couple though," the man told me.

I handed him the money. "Really?"

He nodded.

I smiled and went out the car and joined Stephanie inside a huge Dave and Busters.

She smiled and grabbed my arm leading us to the front desk to get coins.

We got our seats and coins and headed straight to the games.

~3hours later~

*Stephanie's POV*

After playing and eating and people asking Niall for autographs we decided to head home.

"You wanna walk?" Niall asked licking some of the icecream he had.

I shrugged, "Sure."

We walked out the place.

"Hey? What was the taxi driver telling you when you were in the car?" I asked him as we made a turn on one of the streets.

Niall raised an eyebrow, "He just said we made a cute couple, that's it."

I looked up at him, "And what did you say?"

Niall kept licking his icecream, "I just replied with a 'Really?'"

I looked back down at my stuffed bear that he got me, "Oh."

We made it in front of a red light.

"Niall?" I breathed out.

"Hm?" He replied never leaving his eyes off of his cone.

We crossed the street, there was no one around.

"Do you agree with the driver? Do you think we make a nice couple?" I finally let out.

He stopped eating and looked straight at me. "Steph, I-"

There was the noise of tires screeching.

We both looked back and see a car coming towards us quickly.

I was in shock and couldn't move.

"Steph!" I heard Niall yell, it sounded like slow motion.

Then it hit me, literally.

I felt immense pain and tires screeching away.

Fuck you!" Were the last words I heard, it sounded just like Kevin.

I felt my body drop to the floor and my eyes slowly closing, all I saw was Niall hovered over me his mouth moving, it looked like he was yelling.

My eyes closed and I felt and heard nothing.
