Chapter 23

*A/N: Another filler but with a hint of sass.*

~One week later~

*Stephanie's POV*

After Niall and I kissed, things have been getting strange. I mean, we were best friends, it was so uncalled for.

I head down the stairs to find Niall watching a football game. I sat down next to him, my leg touching his.

He looked down and shifted his leg away from me and shot his eyes back to the tv.

"What's wrong, you've been acting weird?" I finally asked.

He looked at me, his blue eyes were droopy, "What are you talking about?" He replied.

I shook my head, "Ever since we kissed we-"

He cut me off, "Can we forget the kiss. It was an accident, I was upset and tired and my emotions were everywhere, we're just friends."

His voice was calm but I can tell he was annoyed.

The doorbell rang, I glanced at Niall and walked to the door.

*Niall's POV*

I was tired of feeling awkward so I had to tell Stephanie to let that kiss go.

She looked upset when she went to answer the door.

"Hey!" It was the girl from the house party.

Stephanie laughed and hugged her, "What's up?" She asked letting her inside.

"Oh God, hi Niall!" The girl exclaimed, I forced a smile and waved my hand.

"So yeah, um, do you guys want to go out today, get some drinks?" The girl asked as she pouted her lips.

Stephanie shook her head roughly, "No!"

"Yes!" I exclaimed, "I need something to drink, lets go to a club."

Stephanie's friend squealed, "Perfect, I'll meet you guys at the Luna Night Club, dress older since we're still not twenty-one."

She smiled, hugged Stephanie and waved me goodbye as she walked out the door.

"What the fuck!" Stephanie immediately shot at me.

"What!? I wanna go out," I shot back.  

She rolled her eyes, "You're an asshole."

She stomped up the stairs and slammed her room door.

"Thank You!" I exclaimed and turned my head back to the game.

Yet another crazy night to come.
