Harry
"Are you excited!?" Storm asks. "Quidditch tryouts are tomorrow! You are trying out, right!?"
"Of course I am!" I reply. "Obviously, I need to get the spot to prove I'm better than Draco."
Draco flicks my shoulder. "I'm not even trying out, so technically we'll never know-"
"What!?"
He laughs. "I guess we'll find out later, Hare, but not tomorrow."
"Oh, come on. The only other person trying out is a second year! Give me some competition!" I groan.
Blaise chuckles. "You were a first year when you became Seeker, maybe you'll go against another prodigy." He takes my hand in his and squeezes. "You'll do great, though. I know you'll get the spot."
"I've decided to try being vegetarian," Storm says out of nowhere. "So absolutely no meat products. If I can do that, I might try veganism."
"Any reason why?"
"Even though they're delicious, it sort of grosses me out that we eat animals. As in alive, breathing things."
I nod. "Good point."
"I'll see you guys later," Storm says when we reach Sirius and Remus' quarters. "Can't be late, we're going out somewhere."
"Where are you going?"
"Dunno, they haven't told me yet."
I smile at him. I know where they're taking him, and he's sure to love it. "Alright. See you tomorrow."
"Bye!"
We say our goodbyes and continue walking to the common room. Draco's giving me this look, and I know what he wants to ask.
"It's his birthday," I say. "They're taking him out for his birthday."
They all freeze for a moment, until Pansy speaks up.
"We have to go to Hogsmeade."
"What-"
"Come on, it's a Hogsmeade weekend. Everyone, hurry up!" she shouts as she starts running. We all start running after her.
Blaise doesn't let go of my hand, and it makes me feel warm inside.
We run from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade. Draco trips and almost lands on his face, but Theo catches him. They both burst out laughing. It's cute.
"Right. Let's split up. Draco, Theo, you get drinks. I'll get decorations with Josiah and Robbie. Blaise, Harry, you get food," Pansy instructs. "No alcohol, the kids only thirteen."
"But Pansy!" Theo groans. "Pretty please?"
"No. If I find alcohol I'll confiscate it and keep it, understand? Now go!"
I should have known Pansy would plan a party once she found out. Of course she would do something like that. Then again, I thought she already knew, so it is not my fault we're now rushing to get party supplies.
"Why don't we do presents first, then food?" Blaise asks.
"Sure." I already have something for him, but I'll get him a bit more.
"Where should we go? I don't know what he all likes..."
"He likes reading and writing, mostly fantasy. So let's go to the book shop."
"Right. Any favorite authors?"
I shrug. Maybe I should have asked Storm, but I have no clue. "Sorry, but I've got no clue."
