Harry

"Harry, you have to wake up." Theo pokes my cheek for the billionth time. "I know you don't want to, but classes are starting soon and you're going to miss breakfast."

"Theo, I already told you, I'm not going," I mumble. "Please just leave me alone."

Note to self: don't eavesdrop on Severus and Regulus and Remus and Sirius. Ever. Even if it's by accident (which it was, thank you very much).

Why is it that when something goes right, someone has to try and screw it up?

They said they found him not guilty. They said so. They let him go, why do they still care!? Severus isn't abusing me or neglecting me or endangering me, why can't they see that!?

Why can't they just leave him alone?

"Harry-"

"I said leave me alone."

He doesn't say anything at first.

Good.

"I'm going to get Draco," he says finally. "Something isn't right."

Oh, great, Mr. Worried-About-Everything is going to come check up on me. That's swell, innit?

I bet Dumbledore has something to do with this.

I. Hate. Him.

Hey, maybe that's what I'll do. Go scream at Dumbles to leave Severus the fuck alone and stop trying to ruin our bloody lives.

"Hare, Theo sent me up here."

"That's nice."

"What's up?"

"Well, I feel like everything is falling apart, so that's great."

I feel the bed dip down, meaning Draco sat. "What d'you mean it's falling apart?"

"I overheard Reg and Sev and Siri and Remus talking in Sev's office. I went to ask him if we could go to Diagon Alley this weekend, I need new socks, Body got to them and he needs some new toys. Anyway, they think his therapist is still trying to see if he's abusing me or neglecting me or endangering me."

"You're going to talk to him about it, right? Not hide up here in a ball petting your dog all day?"

"Duh, Draco. But I'm waiting for his free period." Of course I'm going to talk to him, Draco. Why would I want to bottle up everything after the last time I did that and I punched him? Because that was just wonderful, wasn't it? "So in about an hour and a half."

"Great. Okay. Is there anything else?"

I bury my face in the pillow. "No."

"Harry..."

"No, Draco. And I'm honest, I promise."

Okay, mostly honest.

He rolls me over so I'm facing the ceiling. "What're you gonna do until then?"

"Play with Body."

"Want me to stay or go?"

"Either is fine as long as you don't pester me about it."

"I'll stay. Thanks for giving me an excuse to skip History of Magic."

I sit up and chuck my pillow at him. "Well jeez, your welcome."

"Seriously. It's only November and classes already suck."

"Dray, we've been at school for two months now."
