Chapter Twelve

Nellie's P.O.V:

After I had changed into my pj's that consisted of my grey Ambercombie sweatpants, white tank top and my fuzzy dog slippers. Dont judge, they are like walking on clouds. Making my way to the bathroom I took my contacts out and put on my black glasses then put my hair in a bun, made my way to the kitchen, and got a bowl of cereal. Sitting down on the big couch I was flicking through the late night nows on the telly, When my mother walked in with her reading glasses on and a book. She sat down in the recliner and gave me a sad look.

"What mom? Why that look?" I asked her trying to sound the tiniest bit happy. She looked at my from over her glasses and said, "Nellie, you may think I dont know you well enough, but I do. I know you well enough that you liked Jay's son and-"

"His name is Lou,mom." and she raised her eyebrows from me interrupting her speech. "I mean Louis.." I said again trying to cover myself up the tiniest bit.

"As I was saying," she started again, "I know you liked LOUIS, and I also know that he likes you back and I want you to know that you will see him ag-" and she was cut off again,but this time by the doorbell and NOT me. She furrowed her eyebrows and waved a hand at me, signalling to answer the door. Thanks mom, it could be a serial killer for all we know!

I made my way to the door and opened the door slowly, only to be shocked ny who was behind it.

Louis.

He looked at me and his mouth was hanging open. I took the time to look at him myself, him supporting a beanie with blue jeans, a navy blue t-shirt and his black TOMS at his feet.

"Loubear?" I said, thinking I was dreaming that he was actually here, on my doorstep at 11pm.

He didn't answer me, it was like he was frozen and couldnt speak. "What are you doing here? It is at least a 4 hour drive here! Come inside, do you want something to drink?" I asked him while grabbing his arm and pulling him into the heated house and away from the cold October night. I walking right into the kitchen, made him a cup of tea, and made him drink it.

"So Lou, why are you here anyway? Not that I dont want you here! It's just I-I-" and he interrupted me and said, " I get it relax Nell." I relaxed my shoulders and breathed out a breathe that I didn't realize that I was holding in; hopefully he didn't notice that...

"And well... I am here to kinda ask you something. Or tell you really...one of the two." he continued on.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion while thinking of all the possible things that would make him drive four hours, knock on my door at 11pm just to ask me in person. I was burning on the inside with curiosity so I pushed him along with the question and said, "Go ahead." and he took a deep breathe in and said,

"I like you Nellie. Like, I like you like you. Hell it could possibly blossom into love one day. I know we havent even known each other for 24 hours, but it has been the best 20 some hours of my entire life. You complete me, you make me want to be a better person; a better person for you. Right when you left, I didnt know what to do anymore, as soon as I put you into your mom's car I knew it was a mistake. I never wanted you to go home, I wanted you to stay, with me. Now I know your past, and I know you are most likely not looking for a relationship, but I at least wanted to know one thing. Do you have any mutual feeling back for me?"

I was frozen, couldn't speak, couldn't move. Did he just say what I think he just said? All of the things I was thinking he was going to say; they were NOTHING even close to what he did say. All I would do was smile; wow Nell, all you can do is smile at a boy who just confessed his affection towards you? I probably look like an idiot. His face quivered and was going down into a frown.

"I knew it, you don't like me. Its okay, just don't laugh at me or tease me. I new it was too soon but who am I kid-" and I cut him off with a kiss.

The kiss was just like the one we shared in the corn field.

I wrote this on my iPhone so there may be a feww errors, I did try to fix them all!

I WILL BE WRITING WRIT I DRIVE UP NORTH, WRITETHERE ABD WRITE ON MY WAY DOWN SO I WILL HAVE AN UPDATE AND A POSSIBLE ONE SHOT TO POST FOR YOU GUYS ON MONDAY IN WESTERN US TIME!! :)
