Twenty One

I revised this and changed the last bit of the chapter! 

Nellie's P.O.V:

"So how has everything been?" Harry asked as we sat to a short lunch at Redfern's Cafe. My mug between my hands with the warmth of the coffee making the feeling in my fingers come back. My glasses fogged up from the steam hitting my cold lenses as we sat outside on the December night.

"Good, good. What about you?" I asked quietly. To be honest, my mind has been everywhere these past weeks, I have not been able to see Louis for more than a few hours tops. He always has something to do; watch his sisters while his mom is out of town for work, work in general, and sometimes he doesn't even give me an explanation. Now I am not hovering asking for one every time, but it gets degrading when he rejects all the times I try to hang out with him. I have resulted to meeting up with Harry at least once a week to keep me busy.

"All good, Sam and Ray are at this....Mommy Daughter thing, it makes me shudder at the thought of it." he said.

I laughed, "You should not be talking, Mr. Mommy's Boy. Do you know who you are talking to? Your best friend since first grade, you cannot slip that bull by me." He smiled at me for knowing him so well. That boy will always have a permanent leash on his neck that his mom held the rein to.

All he did was smirk, "I've been really happy lately. Ray is my little ball of sunshine , and Sam is just.." He pauses, smiling while looking down at his cup of coffee. He crossed his arms on the table and buries his head in his arms hiding his face. He looks back up at me, "Remember that time we went camping with your family? Remember how much fun we had, and how it was the best weekend we had ever had?" He asks me, and I nod back while smiling at the memory. "That's how I have been feeling around her every day since this past summer; that our lives would be that joyous every day...is all I can want for Ray."

"I think we should all go camping; you Louis and my little family. That would be great! Wouldn't it? It would have to be in a RV because Sam gets cold easily and..." He says happily, and rambles on where we could go and what we could do. All I could worry about was whether or not Louis would have time to go and spend time with them, let alone me.

I smiled shyly, "We could try, he... Louis..." I was unable to finish my sentence until I took a deep relaxing breath. "He's been busy lately. I feel like he is avoiding me for some reason."
That was finally off my chest.

Harry just looked at me with a face I've seen before, pity. "Is that why you have been adamant about our weekly lunch gatherings?" Boy that kid is a smart one there, Sam's got a keeper there for sure. Sarcasm guys, learn it. It is in our everyday lives.

"Yes." I said somehow feeling ashamed of being neglected by my boyfriend. "New Years is coming up and we haven't had a conversation long enough to discuss what we want to do."

Harry just takes in my information, sipping his macchiato in silence thinking hard about something.

"I've tried thinking of everything that could possibly pegging him but I-" I was cut off when Harry stood up and pointed at me with an expression that said he figured something out.

He just calmly asked, "How about we camp then?" 

"That is a perfect idea!" I exclaimed. "Harry, you're a GENIUS!" I said standing up and ran around the small table and hugged him tightly.

Now to only get Louis free for a weekend..

A throat being cleared separated us, Louis was standing on the other side of the cafe's patio fence wearing a thick coat and his glasses.

"Hi babe." I said and climbed over to fence to him and kissed his cheek. He smiled brightly and just pulled me back to him and stole a quick kiss from me. "Enjoying your Cheshire lunch?" His eyes had a sparkle in them that I haven't seen in a while as we were close to each other from the kiss. "Or would you like to try a little bit of my delicious Doncaster dish?"

I gasped and pulled away from him and smacked his chest with my hand pretty harshly. " ho dare you! Bye Harry, I'm leaving you with this fool, I will talk to you later!" That earned a loud laugh from both the men around me. I just crossed my arms after grabbing my purse to walk away from both of these hounds 

I got to my car and went to open the door before a hand grabbed mine and turned me around to pin me to the cold metal of my vehicle. Louis just hummed as he hovered his opened mouth against the exposed part of my neck where my scarf fell. His breath fogged around me and mixed with the temperature of the car, sending chills down my spin as he lightly kissed under my jaw where it met my neck.

I just put my hands on the side of his face and pulled him away slightly to give him a glare. Well I tried. His smile broke my harsh demeanor and  I crumbled when he connected out lips in a short heated kiss.

I pulled away and slightly pushed him back so I could think correctly without him to near me. "How was your day?" I asked breathily.

"If was fine, Lottie decided it would be a good idea to go to the mall with her friends and NOT tell me, but other than that my siblings were normal teenage girls." He said as a continued to smile. "Though they did mention that they missed you."

I broke into a huge grin, missing them too. The were, in fact, huge sweethearts that made me wish I had a sister instead of my joke of a brother.

"That's nice," I started, "you know..." I trailed my hand slowly down his chest a bit and stopped as I looked up into his eyes. "New Years is coming up.." He sighed in response.

"Yes, and?"

"I want to go camping."

Sorry. I apologize but i changed the plot up a bit for this chapter I found a bug in the story where he was going to have like 2 birthday in a span of like 3 months. lmao what. 
I won't promise anything because we know how all that goes
