Modern Sonic: Hey, Eggman. If it's a fight, it's a party to my spin attack. (spin dashes himself to the portal)
However, the portal closed down so fast that he couldn't reach it. Modern Sonic then realized something was different from his hometown in Green Hill Zone.
In the Green Hill Zone, the landscape appeared in unusual geometric form. A picturesque mountain paradise was filled with green fields and a blue lake. The blue lake was majorly surrounded by unfamiliar geometrical plant life. As such, it included rotating flowers, totem poles, etc.
Unlike Green Hill Zone, the jungle Sonic stood in appears more organic. Lustful jungle, palm trees, sandy beaches, clear pools of water, and rivers were the first thing he viewed after he got pushed to another dimension.
Modern Sonic: Where am I? This is definitely not Green Hill. No matter, I am going to have to return home soon before Eggman destroys Green Hills. Anyway, I wonder where Amy is. She must be sent off here as well. Gotta find out!
Modern Sonic raced across Seaside Jungle only to be lost in the process. For the whole day, he got stuck in the route toward Hidden Meadow. Luckily, he survived the odds of wilderness danger spooked from the route of Hidden Meadow that lies along Danger Falls, Hazard Jungle, Jeopardy Lake, Peril River, and Pleasant Gardens. Plus, he managed to get back to the track from Hidden Meadow back to Seaside Jungle and lastly to Seaside Beach in just one day. Seaside Jungle and Seaside Beach both lay on the Seaside Coast. But regardless, Modern Sonic was frustrated for there's no way out at least that's what he thought.
(Near Sonic's shack)
Modern Sonic: Gosh! That was insane. I can't believe I am stuck in this universe with no way out. (screaming in frustration)
Modern Sonic's grumble awoke Boom Sonic whose afternoon nap had been interrupted. Imagine, a lousy neighbor yelled in the middle of your afternoon nap!
Boom Sonic: (annoyed) It's one-thirty in the afternoon. People are trying to sleep. What's the problem with you?
Modern Sonic: The main problem yo is I can't return to my universe and my Amy is missing.
Boom Sonic: Wait for a second! Are you Sonic the Hedgehog? The one Little Ames has been obsessed about.
Modern Sonic: Yep, the fastest guy on the planet.
Boom Sonic: That's amazing. I can't believe I will be seeing my counterparts. Wanna race to the whole island?
Modern Sonic: Yeah! Let's party!
(Meanwhile at Amy's hut)
Modern Amy: So, how's the thing between you and Sonic? Are you guys dating? (winked at her)
Boom Amy: What are you talking about? He's not my boyfriend (sweat and blush in denial)
Modern Amy: Really? You guys embrace each other as if you meant it. Oh, how sweet sonamy is?
Boom Amy couldn't handle the embarrassment of getting caught red-handed. So she found a distraction.
Boom Amy: Oh, look at the time! The cookies are ready.
Modern Amy didn't believe her for a second. It was really obvious when she saw Boom Sonic and Boom Amy embrace each other at Seaside Beach. Oh, how she wished her Sonic would treat her the same way as a lover, not a friend or worse, nuisance. Heck, she even knew Boom Amy was stalling. Oh, well!
Boom Amy: (Put a pan of cookies on the table) Here you go, cookies ready!
Modern Amy: (eating delightfully) It's good. You also know how to bake.
