I woke up because my alarm clock was ringing. I have absolutely no desire to go to school, but my mother would kill me if I skip school. Even if she might not notice, since she works all day. I took a shower and got ready for school. Today I'm wearing an oversize t-shirt, jeans and a bucket hat.
I walked to school and see a guy who is talking to Jake. I think its Lucas, he's Jake's best friend. Lucas has an older brother who is a Santo.
I walk to them and said, "Hi!" They turned around and smiled at me. "Hi!" both of them said. I stood with them for a while and they talked about football and news from the Santos, then the school bell rang and we went in the school. "Damn nena you look fine today." said Jake. I playfully hit him against the shoulder. "I'll see you after school." I said smiling and we went to our classes.

I waited for Jake after school and sat on the floor with my back against the wall. I put my headphones in my ears and listened to music. I sang the lyrics in my head and sank into my thoughts.
"Heyyyyy Y/n!" screamed a familiar voice. I take off my headphones and lift my head. It was Cesar who looked at me smiling, "Damn this was the third time I said 'hey' to you." I pointed to my headphones, "Sorry."
He looked at me confused, "What are you doing here alone on the floor?"
"Just waiting for Jake." I said still sitting on the floor. Cesar laughed, "Oh, okay I-" someone interrupted him. We looked around at the voice and I saw the red Impala.
"Ey hermano. ¡Entrar en el coche!" (Ey brother. Get in the car!) the man screamed. Cesar stepped aside so the man could see me and I could see the men.
"Oscar! Just wait a moment!" screamed Cesar. What the hell. This guy was Cesar's brother, the leader of the Santos? This is Spooky? That was the guy from yesterday.
Oh shit.
Cesar looked back at me, "Y/n I have to go, see you later at the party?"
"Oh you're going to the party too?"
He chuckled. "Of course, I go... It's in my house - a Santos party."
Before I could answer anything, Spooky said with a grin, "Hola hermosa!" Cesar shook his head and looked at me, "Shall we take you home?"
I shook my head, "No, I'm fine." Spooky leaned against his car and grinned at me.
Then I saw Jake coming out of school with some friends and I got up from the floor and hugged Cesar, "Bye. See ya!" I glanced at the intimidating man who was leaning against the car and walked to Jake.
Cesar and his brother got into the car and drove away. As the car drove past me, the gang leader winked mischievously at me, followed by an annoyed groan from Cesar.
