Chapter 21-Reunion?

Present

"So that's what happened." Ochako says.

"Oh, I think I remember now." I say staring down at my lap.

I smile to myself.

'Maybe I should've never went down this path.' I think to myself.

"So....are you gonna keep that promise?" She asks.

'You know I can't' I think as I nod to her.

She smiles and stands up.

"alright then, let's get out of here." She says stretching.

"Yeah, let's go." I say getting up and stumbling.

"Cant stand can you?" She asks.

"I guess." I say nervously laughing.

She grabs my hand and grips onto it making it hurt a bit.

"In that case, I'll lead you." She says.

"That's totally an excuse to hold my hand isn't it." I say smirking at her.

"No! What are you talking about anyways..." she mumbles the last part.

I chuckle and grip her hand back while smiling at her. Her face stays red and she turns away and starts to walk.

"Shouldn't we like, go make sure they know I'm gone?" I ask.

"Nope, I don't wanna stay here any longer anyways." She responds.

"Wait isn't that illegal?" I question.

She turns and puts a finger on her mouth.

"Shhhhhhhh." She says while winking.

We run out of the hospital and she leads me toward a car. She opens the back door and signals me to go in. I listen and she jumps in right next to me. I look to the front to see a blonde haired man that's super skinny.

"Uh, who are you." I ask.

"All might." He responds quietly as he starts the car.

"Oh." I respond looking at Ochako.

She leans over and whispers into my ear.

"His power is completely gone, so he's skinny now." She says.

"Oh, so your his successor right?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm already at 40% power." She responds with a huge smile.

'Shit, if we do fight, I'm fucked.' I think.

I open my mouth and smile.

"Really? That's great." I say.

She nods.

"Alright kids, car rides pretty far so, I hope your comfortable." All might says as we start driving.

I stare out the window and watch, the city here is in ruins, constant villians, no hero's around.

'Did I cause this?' I think to myself.

Suddenly a burst of cold hits my hand. I look down and see that Ochako lifted her hand off of mine. I look up to her and see that she's looking out the other window with her hand resting on her lap.

'I was holding her hand and I didn't even notice....' I think as a laugh to myself.

Ochako turns her head to me.

"Why are you laughing?" She asks.

I look her in the eyes and smile.

"Just happy to be back." I say not breaking eye contact and grabbing her hand back into mine.
