7. A Tour With Nirvana

After the band decided they would be a thing Nirvana walked in. Liam had heard about their reunion tour. (The band broke up in 94 when Kurt was suffering from depression and drug addiction) The band wasn't going to be permanent. It was just for the anniversary of Bleach, Nirvana's first album. Besides Dave had Foo Fighters. 

Kurt looked Liam up and down. Liam wasn't dressed to impress. He just had on jeans, converses, a shirt that had strange dinosaurs on it (Thanks Slash), and a leather jacket. And, of course, his red bandana. 

"So what have you guys been doing?" Dave asked trying to break the tension between Liam and Kurt. "Well, we have a band," Charlie said. "It's called Hollywood Wasteland, Liam thought of the name," Max said. "Of course he did," Kurt mumbled. 

Liam knew Kurt wouldn't be on board with having the son of Axl Rose in his house. Liam knew bout the rivalry and the difference of opinions Kurt and Axl had. Liam didn't know it would affect his life. But he also didn't know he'd become friends with Kurt's son. 

"We have a tour in a month, if you guys can get good at a few original songs by then, you should come with us," Dave said. "Really?" Charlie asked. "That would be so cool!" Max said. 

But how will dad react? Liam thought. 

"What about you, William? Would Axl let you come on tour?" Kurt asked. WIth you? Probably not. That is what Liam wanted to say. But as true as it may be. Liam didn't wanna sound rude. "I don't know," Liam said. "But I'll see." 

Liam walked home. The cold November air bit at his face. Leaves fell off trees in piles. Strong win carried some to hit Liam and stick to his clothes. Liam didn't bother brushing them off. He was too worried about Axl's reaction when he finds out Liam was not only friends with Kurt's son but in a band and wanting to go on tour with Nirvana. 

He arrived home and brushed the leaves off of his clothes before walking in. Axl was sitting on the couch watching MTV. Liam saw a pizza box on the coffee table in front of the couch. "Hey, Liam. I ordered pizza if you're hungry," Axl said. Liam was pretty hungry and no nervousness could ever make that go away. Liam sat and ate after he was done he turned to Axl. 

"Hey, dad?" He asked. "Yeah?" Axl asked looking at Liam. "I have a band," Liam said. "Oh... With who?" Axl asked. Liam looked away. "Max Novoselic, Violet Grohl, and Charlie Cobain," Liam said. Axl stayed quiet. "And they want us to go on their reunion tour next month if we are good enough," Liam said. "Are you sure this is what you want?" Axl asked. "I don't have a normal life. I'm never going to, so I'll just take advantage of what I have," Liam said. "Okay, but be careful, alright?" Axl asked. Liam smiled and nodded. He wrapped his arms around Axl's neck. "Thanks, Dad, you're the best!" Liam said. Axl hugged Liam back. You're going to make me the proudest dad in the world. I love you, Liam! Axl thought.
