Slash stayed by Liam's side the entire time. Going home to get some rest and take a shower and he was back at the hospital. Liam was growing stronger. But Axl was still on life support. "He's going to die isn't he?" Liam asked. Slash sighed. "He's getting better, Liam. We just have to wait," Slash said. Liam started crying again. Slash crawled onto the bed and pulled Liam into a hug. "You're a lot better now. Do you wanna go see him?" Slash asked. Liam nodded.
They walked into the room and heard a doctor talking. Liam rushed in and saw that Axl was awake. He was crying. But he wasn't sad. He walked over to Axl and Slash and the doctor decided to give them some time.
Axl had a tube stuck down his throat and was hooked up to countless wires and hoses. He was bandaged in certain areas too.
"Hey, dad," Liam said. Axl grabbed a pencil and paper and wrote something down then he showed it to Liam.
Who are you?
"I-I gotta go," Liam said walking out of the room. "H-he doesn't know me," Liam said on the verge of tears. "He lost his memory but in a few days he'll gain it back don't worry," the doctor said. That made Liam feel better. Though he was sad that Axl didn't remember him.
After the doctor walked away, Liam turned to Slash. "Thanks for staying with me through all of this," Liam said. Slash smiled and pulled Liam into a hug. "I'm always looking out for you," Slash said. "Thank you," Liam said.
