46. Telling Everyone

"Daddy!" Alexa squealed running over to Liam from where she was sitting on the couch. Courtney and Kurt looked at Liam, anger glowing in their eyes. But Liam pretended not to notice as he rose his daughter into the air. Alexa giggled. Liam brought her to his chest. "I missed you, daddy," Alexa said. Liam chuckled. "I missed you too, baby Bean," he said. 

Liam looked at Frances as if to ask if he should tell Alexa about her new brother. Frances nodded. "Guess what?" Liam asked. "What?" Alexa asked. "You're going to be a big sister!" Liam said. 

Trapping my daughter again are you? Kurt thought. A grim expression on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Aw, what is it? Do you guys know?" Courtney asked. Ignoring Kurt. "It's a boy!" Frances said. "And his name is Cliff A. Rose!" Liam said. Frances wrapped her arms around Liam's torso. "I love it," Frances said.

"You're just going to let him do that to her?" Kurt asked after Frances, Liam, and Alexa left. "Do what?" Courtney asked. "Baby trap her into a relationship!" Kurt said. "He didn't, Kurt," Courtney said. "Sure he didn't! He knew he was going to lose her by going on all these tours so he got her pregnant so she'll stay with him!" Kurt said. Courtney shook her head. "You're a fool. Liam wouldn't do anything like that," Courtney said. "You know what he said to Frances earlier today! He said if they weren't-" "Together they'd be happier? Yeah! So why would he want her?" Courtney asked. "He wanted to feel overpowered over a woman. Like his piece of shit father," Kurt said. "Last time I checked Axl was being a good father to Liam! He never raised a hand to his son but Liam's mother did! Axl stuck around and loved Liam and it's clear Liam loves him too. Axl wasn't a bad father. Liam is a smart boy. If Axl was a bad father then Liam would know it," Courtney said. "Axl still disrespected women," Kurt said. "Like father like son," he added harshly. "Frances wants to be with Liam whether you like it or not!" Courtney snapped.

"Joey's been asking about you. Said he saw Frances at the hospital," Isaac said into the phone. "So? I don't want to talk to him!" Liam said. "C'mon, Liam. He was young and dumb," Isaac said. "Just come over and we can set things straight," Isaac said. "Alright," Liam groaned. 

He went to Isaacs's house and knocked on the door. Isaac answered and welcomed him in. "Hey, Liam," Joey said. Liam saw a big change in Joey. He had frizzy blonde hair that went a little below his ears. Everything he wore was normal and casual. He lost that rockstar vibe.  Nothing about him screamed rock n roll anymore. "So, what do you do?" Liam asked. "I'm a doctor," Joey said in a 'duh' tone. 

"Listen, I'm willing to put all of this behind us if you are," Joey said sticking out his hand. Liam shook it. "Deal," he said. "Congrats on the kids by the way," Joey said shooting Liam a smile.
