"Come on, Liam, it'll be fun!" Joey said trying to persuade Liam to go to a local house party with him and Isaac. "I don't know, you said there'll be alcohol," Liam said. "So? You're too shielded, Liam, come on let's go have some fun!" Joey said. "Alright, I guess so," Liam said. "Cool, see you at five then!" Joey said. He gave Liam the address and Liam was to drive to the house.

Liam was a bit nervous. He'd be surrounded by alcohol and possibly drugs. He's never had experience with that stuff before. Plus, Isaac, Liam, and Joey were all underage.

Liam drove to the house party and saw a bunch of cars lined up and he could hear the music from outside. He sighed and walked into the house. People were already drunk and it made Liam uncomfortable. He navigated Joey and walked up to him. But much to Liam's surprise, Joey was drunk. "Oh, hey, Liam, here have a beer," Joey slurred before walking up to some women. Liam sighed and took a sip of the Jack Daniels.

After a while of drinking and standing alone, everyone started running. Liam didn't know why. And he was half drunk. His head pounded and he felt dizzy. He wanted to scream as he felt so vulnerable and scared.

Policemen ran in and one grabbed Liam. "Have you been drinking son?" he asked. "A-a little," Liam said. The officer could tell Liam was scared and a little drunk. "Okay, we'll take you to the police station and call your dad tomorrow okay?" the officer said. "What do you mean t-tomorrow?" Liam asked. "You'll stay the night at the jail," the officer said.

They got to the police station and had Liam dress in an orange suit and put him in with a man that looked about twenty-seven. Liam stayed where he was in front of the door to the cell. He was terrified. "Calm down, William, I'm not a murderer," the man said his voice a bit raspy. He had messy short black hair and a short beard. He reminded Liam of a pirate. "Th-then wh-what are y-you here for?" Liam asked. "I robbed a store at gunpoint," the man said. "Y-you said you weren't a murderer!" Liam said distressed. "I'm not, I didn't kill anyone," the man said. "D-did you shoot anyone?" Liam asked. "The cashier and a cop. But they survived," the man said. His raspy voice held no emotion.

"Do you not feel any sympathy? Or regret?" Liam asked. "A man does what he needs to survive," the man said. "I don't see how anyone could do that," Liam said walking closer to the bed where the man laid. "What about you, William?" the man asked. "it's Liam, and I was drinking," Liam said. "I'm Leon. How do you think Axl would react once he hears?" the man, Leon, asked. "He'll be disappointed for sure," Liam said. "You learn from your mistakes," Leon said. "Why did you rob a store anyway?" Liam asked. "My wife, she has cancer. We have no money and I had to find a way to pay for her treatments," Leon said. "When you get out, I'll give you money, so that you can pay for her treatments," Liam said. "Don't, Liam, she'll be dead by the time I get out next year anyway," Leon said.

Liam could see the sadness in Leon's eye. Some people aren't as bad as they may seem. And Liam saw the good in Leon. He was a lost man trying to save his wife.

The next day a police officer came to get Liam out. "You're a good kid, Liam. Don't make any stupid mistakes like I did okay?" Leon asked. Liam nodded. "And, Leon, I'll find a way to help your wife," Liam said. "Enjoy your life, Liam. And don't let anyone stop you from what you love doing.
