Jude's POV...

I woke up to Weylin shaking me.

"Dude what the hell?" I exclaimed, my eyes adjusting to the light.

I was now aware of the position Weylin was in. His knee was against my lower abdomen, his right hand was resting on my stomach and his left hand was gripping my shoulder, he was towered over me. His eyes shifted from my eyes to lips then quickly back up to my eyes.

"I- we need to be at orientation in twenty minutes." He spit out before getting up.

He walked over to our closet and pulled clothes from his side. He then went into the bathroom to get dressed. I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes from my side of the closet. I started to undress and put my pants on when the bathroom door opened. I only had on dark blue jeans, no shirt.

Weylin looked at me and clammed up.

"Uh...sorry I was just- I thought you-"

"It's fine man. Just a shirtless college boy, you'll survive." I laughed and began pulling my shirt on over my head.

I saw how Weylin's eyes lingered on my chest before looking away.

Weylin's POV...

Oh god I hope he didn't think I was checking him out. I mean, maybe I was. I don't know. Ever since the party in Sophomore year, everything about me and between Jude and I had changed.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah. Actually I'll meet you down there, gotta call my mom."

"Okay."

I walked out of our room and down the hall. Once I got outside I saw that Tara was waiting for me.

"Oh my gosh I thought I was gonna have to drag you out of your room!" She said as she walked up to me.

"Oh." I laughed.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yup all good!" I tried convincing her.

Jude's POV...

"That's what I'm saying, Ros, he's acting weird."

She laughed over the phone. "Look just ask him what's up. It could just be about that party."

"That was almost three years ago. How could he still be affected by that?"

"Well, hon, you're living  with him now. It's bound to resurface and you know it."

She was right. "I have to go, orientation."

"Kk love you mwah!" She made a kissy sound and hung up the phone.

I grabbed my shoes and made my way out the door.

Later at orientation...

God this is so boring. Just the professors introducing themselves and the admins going over campus policies. I pulled out my phone and saw that Dylan, my ex boyfriend from high school, texted me three times and called me twice. He was always clingy, but not this clingy. We broke up in the middle of senior year, he was going to Pepperdine and I got accepted to NYU. There were no hard feelings which was good.

I unlocked my phone and began to write him back when Weylin sat down next to me.

"You know, you could get in trouble for being on your phone during orientation."

"I'll take my chances, sir." God he is so annoying.

"Really? Your first day and you are just asking to get kicked out?"
