Around 7 o' clock at night... as her family has still not come back home from work, Nandini decided to go meet Manik and left her house in her scooty.

Manik got up from his couch and paused the movie he was watching when he heard the door bell ring.

He opened up the door and smiled seeing the person standing in front of him before saying, "Hey, I'm glad that you're here, the way you left in the morning... I thought you will never came back here ever again."

Nandini looked at him and said "Are you free right now... Ummm can we talk."

Manik moved aside for Nandini to enter and said "sure, come in."

Once Nandini was inside the Penthouse, Manik closed the door and went inside too.

Manik and Nandini looked at each other in silent. They had been like that ever since Manik let Nandini come in and sat themselves on the couch.

"Nandini. What's wrong?" Manik asked finally breaking the silence between them.

Nandini opened her mouth to say something but closed it seconds later not knowing how to start the conversation, what to say first.

'Come on Nandu , you can do this,' she told and motivated herself.

Manik just looked at her, waiting for her to continue.

After a minute, Nandini took a deep breath and said, " Navya and I talked today."

"About what? " Manik asked.

"We were talking about you." Nandini replied.

"Me!? What about me? " Manik asked impatiently.

'did she tell her everything about me... If yes then why is Nandini here, shouldn't she be afraid of me and stay away from me like the humans usually react when they discover find out about our real identity.' Manik was thinking about all this when Nandini's voice brought him back to his senses.

"Navya kinda warned me about what would happen if you and me get involved, the danger I might face as your family have many rivals and enemies because of your businesses and all." Nandini said.

'Oh! So she still doesn't know about our secret but she knows that there is dangers associated with me and my family, nice way of warning your friend Navya by telling only half truth... Smart girl, now I'm really curious to hear her answer regarding it.' Manik thought.
