Chapter 6

(A/N: Listen to ABC by Jackson 5. I think it fits this chapter so well...)

Emily's POV

"Okay, I will be back in about 2 hours. I love you." My mom says as she kisses my forehead.

"I love you, too." I say. My mom walks out of the house and me and my dad are sitting on the couch watching TV.

My dad looks over at me and says, "Okay, she's gone. Go get the blankets!"

I stand up and run to the hallway closet and grab all the blankets I can find.

Dad and me decided that we were going to make a fort in the living room with blankets. I'm so excited!

I run back into the living room and see that my dad has already moved the coffee table out of the living room. I give him the blankets and we start setting up the fort. My dad gets some chairs from the kitchen to hold up some of the blankets.

Once we finished building the fort, we went inside of it and started playing bored games.

About 2 hours later, my mom came home and saw the fort.

"Oh my gosh, what have you guys done to my living room?" She asks.

Dad and me get out of the fort and walk over to her.

"Me and Dads were planning on making a fort when you left. I'm sorry, Mom. I know your mad." I say.

"I am very mad." She says and then pauses. "That you guys did not wait for me!"

My Mom puts her purse on the floor and gets inside the fort with Jmaie in her arms. Me and Dad get back into the Fort and we all begin to play bored games again.

I love my family.
