I snapped my math text book shut with a satisfying thump.
"Are you done Stacey?" Yawned my grandma, "It's just about 9 o'clock."
I smiled up at my sleepy grandma from where I sat.
"Yes grandma, I'm done. Can I go for a run?" She kind of just stared at me with those big brown eyes for a moment.
"Alright, but be careful." Grandma sighed finally. I smiled and stood. I gave her a kiss on the cheek before I headed out.
I never really thought I was going to be hit, but that's what happend.
