It's been a week since Mei and I joined the survey corp. it's not as bad as people made it out to be. Then again we haven't been on an expedition yet.

"Mei, what do we have to do today?"

"I don't know, maybe clean the stables. Then after I think we're on kitchen duty."

"Ugh, that sucks."

"Yeah no kidding."

We both let out giggles, I'm glad Mei is with me. But I'm going to do anything in my power to save everyone. Especially Mei.

Our first mission, we're really gonna do it. Mei and I will go outside the walls. I'm honestly really nervous. I can feel my hands shaking.

"Y/N, don't worry about it we'll just do our part and hope to stay safe." Mei reassured.

"Thanks Mei."

We were at the front gate, the thing that would let us out into the world. The world full of titans.

And I'll kill them all for the people I love.

We made our horses go into formation, riding off.

Now I took the time to look around, It was so beautiful.. there's so much land, the trees I see far ahead are so beautiful.

I hope Mei is doing okay, after all we're in different squads. But I can see her up ahead.

It felt like hours since we were riding, we ran into few titans hear and there. But we managed to avoid them.

But I wonder what is the purpose of us coming out here.

"Abnormal! Up ahead!"

A 14 meter titan was running straight towards us, I ready up my ODM gear my comrade swings towards the nape of the titan.

As soldiers swing themselves towards the titan, only for the titan to swiftly grab the two. Holding them as the soldiers panicked.

Y/N watched, her turquoise eyes widen, she stood in shock as the titan ripped one of the soldiers in half. Eating one half before dropping the other.

Y/N stood there, watching in horror as the titan bites her other comrades head squeezing the blood into its mouth.

Y/N looked around, her shock and horror, slowly turning into anger. Why wasn't anyone doing anything? No wonder too many die.

No one ever seems to want to try to save their comrades in fear of them being killed.

Y/N looked forward, Mei in the same state as she was, shocked, eyes widened.

The titan took no time into noticing the rest of the soldiers, having its Eyes on Mei it picked her up.

Mei not doing anything, still paralyzed in horror from watching the gruesome slaughters.
