"I'll see you tomorrow." George said, saying his goodbyes to Dream before walking Into his house.
It was around 11pm, Dream had just dropped George off at his house, after a long night talking and sitting on the rooftop.
"Hey George, how was your night?" George's mum asked, as he is walking into the living room, with a not so happy look on his face.
"Mum can we talk?" George asked, ignoring his mum's question.
"Yes of course, what's wrong?" She asked, seeing the concerning look on her son's face.
George walked over and sat himself on the couch, letting out a big sigh.
"Everything." George replied.
"Come on George, talk to me." His mum pushed.
"I think I'm in love with Dream." George spluttered out, not being able to keep it in any longer.
George's mum wasn't shocked, she let out a little sigh and chuckle.
"It's not funny, I'm being serious! What do I do?" George asked, panicking.
"I know you're being serious; It was fairly obvious George. And honestly, I think you should tell him, I've seen the way he looks at you." She advised.
"No, I can't tell him! I'll lose him mum, and I can't lose him." George said, trying to hold back the tears forming in his eyes, he was terrified, he's never had these kinds of feelings before.
"Look, listen George. When you love someone, there's always going to be a part of you that's terrified that one day you're going to lose them. But, you have to let the people you love know that you love them, even if it could cause you a great deal of pain." She explained.
"You make out like it's so easy." George pouted.
"It's not easy, but it's easier than keeping in your feelings. If you don't tell him then you'll always wonder 'what if' and it'll cause you deeper pain in the long run as your feelings grow stronger." She continued.
George knew she was right; she was always right. But was the risk of losing Dream worth the chance of something good happening? He will regret it if he doesn't say anything, but he could regret It a lot more if he does say it.

It was the next morning, Monday morning. George had been debating all night on what he should do, he had hardly got any sleep. He still didn't know whether he was going to tell Dream or not, he was just planning on seeing what happens really.
George quickly changed and got ready for soon, leaving his house shortly after. He would have to walk to school today due to his mum working, but school was fairly close to his house, so he didn't mind.
He was walking down the street, headphones in his ears whilst listening to 'In My Veins' by Andrew Belle. When he got interrupted by a notification, Dream was calling.
He quickly answered, "Hello?" George said.
"Hey George!" Dream greeted, enthusiastically.
"What's up?" George asked, confused as to why Dream had called.
"Nothing, I just wanted to say good morning, are you on your way to school?" Dream asked.
George's stomach filled with butterflies.
"Yeah, I'm walking there now." George replied, unable to remove the large grin on his face.
"Okay! See you soon, bye Georgie! Love you!" Dream said before hanging up the phone.
George smiled. He found it odd that Dream randomly called him, they usually just met at school. But he didn't think too much into it, he was glad he called, It put him in a better mood.
Shortly after, George arrived at school, spotting his best friend stood at his locker, George quickly walked over to greet him.
"Hey Dream." George greeted.
"Oh Hey!" Dream replied.
George hesitated for a moment.
"Can we talk?" George asked, nervously.
"Yeah of course!" Dream said, he replied enthusiastically as he spotted George's nerves.
George was about to talk, no, he was about to pour his heart out. Tell Dream how he was feeling, how he thought that possibly, just maybe, he was totally falling in love with him. It was going to be a huge moment; George was finally going to say the three words he had always struggled getting out.
But of course, the two were interrupted.
"Clay!" A girl shouted from across the school hall, her eyes lit with joy.
However, Dream looked both confused and concerned. But, instinctively he opened his arms as the girl ran towards him, leaping into his arms. He lifted her with ease and quickly spun her around.
George's stomach sank, jealousy.
"Uh. George, meet Venessa, my girlfriend." Dream said nervously.
Ouch.
