Just like every other day, George was in school. Everyday was a repeat, always feeling just as bad. However, today was a little different. George was sitting in his usual spot at lunch, on his own, when someone came and joined him.

"Hey! I'm Sapnap!" The boy greeted.

Sapnap? What an odd name.

"Oh, hi. I'm George." He replied, forcing a smile.

"I always see you sat here, how come you sit alone?" Sapnap questioned.

"Nobody to sit with, I guess." George answered, the forced smile fading away.

"Oh. Well, mind if I join you?" He asked.

"Sure." George answered, the smile reappearing, this time it wasn't forced.

The two sat and ate lunch together, they both learned that they actually had quite a few classes together. After lunch was a free period, which was often annoying as that was the last lesson of the day and they weren't even allowed to just leave, but today they didn't mind as they were happy getting to know one another.

However, the saddest part was how cautious George was being. He didn't want Sapnap to get to know too much about him and part of him wanted to never talk to him again, not because he was a bad guy, because he didn't want a repeat of the situation with Dream.

The bell rang, interrupting Sapnap and George's conversation, signalling that it was time to go home. Both boys didn't look as pleased as you'd expect, they were contempt with talking to each other. They started to say their goodbyes.

"Actually, there is a party tonight, I'm going. Do you maybe want to come?" Sapnap asked, praying he'd agree.

George hesitated for a moment, he wasn't really a party person, he'd never actually been to a party before. Part of him didn't want to go, but if he didn't then he'd just go home and lay in his bed, doing nothing. So maybe this would be good for him.

"You know what, yeah why not." George agreed, giving him a warm smile.

"Cool! Take my phone number and text me your address, I'll pick you up at 7!" Sapnap replied cheerfully, the two exchanged details and said their goodbyes.

Sapnap had done as he said, he picked George up at 7. They drove for about 10 minutes before pulling up to a house, a very nice house actually. They walked inside, Sapnap greeting people as they walked through the house and into the kitchen.

"Here." Sapnap said, handing George a cup, obviously containing some sort of alcohol.

He was hesitant to take it, he had never drunk alcohol before either. But he needed to let loose, live a little, forget. He took the cup from Sapnap's hand, bringing it to his lips and slowly drinking, he felt it burn down his throat, causing him to cough when bringing the cup away from his mouth.

Sapnap giggled at his reaction.

A few hours passed; George was letting loose, surprisingly he was having a lot of fun. He was dancing with random people and was possibly onto his 8th cup of whatever he was drinking. He was definitely heavily intoxicated, otherwise he wouldn't have such high confidence to dance in front of and talk to everyone.

He also knew he was drunk when he constantly had to grip onto something to manage his balance and not fall. George didn't even consider the fact that Dream could have been at the party, not until he saw him walking through the front door, causing George to stop dancing and the smile fading from his face. Only for a split second though, he was far too intoxicated to care that much, then he kept on dancing without a care in the world.

He was interrupted from his dancing when he felt hands tightly gripping his waist, spinning him around to face the individual.

Dream.

"George, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Dream asked, in a lecturing tone.

"Sorry dad." George giggled at his attitude.

Dream didn't even say another word, he grabbed the cup out of Georges hand, he sighed before grabbing his hand and leading him out of the house.

"What are you doing." George slurred his words, hardly able to talk.

Dream didn't reply, he dragged him into his car.

"Pass me your phone." Dream said, George obliged however looking confused.

"Why do you need my phone." George asked, rubbing his forehead as the pounding increased.

"Your mum would kill you if she saw you like this, I'm texting her and telling her you're staying at my house." Dream answered.

"But you're not my friend, are you Dream?" George said sarcastically.

Dream sighed, handing George his phone back and starting the car.

The two were driving in silence.

"You're so selective." George spoke up, still slurring his words and rubbing his head.

"What?" Dream said, confused.

"One minute you cut me out your life and then you want me back in your life, or you act like you care about me." George mumbled.

"I don't pretend like I care about you, I do care about you." Dream replied, looking ahead and focusing on the road.

"God, this friendship is so back and forth, It is giving me a headache." George replied, squinting his eyes and rubbing his forehead harsher this time.

"Nope, that is the alcohol giving you a headache." Dream replied, laughing at his own joke and looking at George for a split second.

Dream forgot how it felt to be with George, it was like nothing else mattered. It was a feeling he was never able to explain, but he never felt it with anyone other than George. It was so peaceful, and all you felt was pure happiness. George made him happy, he knew that, but he screwed everything up with him so many times. He knew he had hurt George, a lot.

However, he knew all he would ever do is continue to hurt him. Dream thought it'd be best to stay away from George, that way he couldn't hurt him, but he couldn't. George was so addictive, he found himself constantly being lured back to him. It was such a unique yet confusing feeling, he has never felt this way, but he just couldn't understand what the feeling actually was.
