Lily's POV
I stared at the Moon; it glimmered through the darkness while the night fell on my shoulders like a heavy cloak.
Breathing in, I closed my eyes, almost did I felt the stickiness of blood on my body again, a cold shiver running down my spine; the feeling had been haunting me for years.
Everything felt like it had been some dreaming space, I know what happened, but it was like I watched myself from afar and can't do anything against it.
I miss you, mom and dad.
There was no day I would wake up, bathing in sweat with the nightmare in the back of my mind like the fresh scar it would always remain to be; perhaps it was my payment for my sins.
But at least my beloved ones got their deserved happily ever after, and as long as they were happy, so would I.
When I opened my eyes, a breeze touched the bare skin of my neck, almost as if the Moon was trying to place a soft peck there, comforting me.
Lily for the flower representing death, and Moon because it's only beautiful when it's far away.
I once was named Xia'er, wide and far, near and close, but that girl died the night with her parents, and Lily Moon was born.

Song Jiyang's POV
Unconsciously I snuggled more into Haoxuan's hug while the movie went on, it's been two months, and things were going better and better; I let out a small sigh when Haoxuan pecked my lips.
I yawned; it's been a few days since the last time I talked to the others, but they all seem to try finding their way while staying together, I wasn't sure if things were going to change for me, but it didn't matter because Haoxuan would be by my side.
"Thinking about what happened?" I nodded; it was as if Haoxuan always could read my mind.
"Yeah, I mean, what will happen to them, and Fanxing?" Haoxuan smiled, tickling me against my bare arm, "Fanxing would stay with Zhan and Yibo, don't worry so much, they will survive, okay?" I stretched my numb limbs like a cat, my hand ruffling through my hair.
"We will take this secret until our last breath to the grave, huh." It wasn't a question, it was a statement, and I nodded; we had no other choice if we wanted to stay safe after all this.
Haoxuan placed his arms around me, hugging me closely while snuggling his face against the crook of my neck, muttering, "I love you."
I smiled, intertwining our hand while murmuring, "I love you too."

Wang Zhoucheng's POV
Everything that happened still felt like some fairytale, but if there was a happily ever after was the question, it wasn't that I hated Lily; I just felt intimidated by her, sometimes in her presence nagged at me.
"Are you still mad at me for telling you nothing?" I took a moment before shaking my head, my eyes finding Xuan Lu's.
She was like a sweet sister tome, but perhaps she wasn't the little girl she once was.
"No, I understand that you wanted to keep me safe, but never do something like this dangerous, ever, again." A voice chuckled before speaking up, "Lu Lu isn't a kid anymore." I turned around to face Lily, who took a sip of her coffee.
Xuan Lu hugged her while I only gave her a nod, "I haven't had the time to say thank you for hacking the system to switch those vide-" I shrugged, dismissing it.
"I know we didn't have a good start, but hopefully, we can get better along in the future." She gave me a nod before once again taking a sip of her coffee.
"Let's go for dinner together," Xuan Lu said; both Lily and I looked at her, she smiled deadly, and we glanced at each other, knowing it wasn't a question before we three burst out in a laugh . . .

Qihe's POV
It felt weird; tonight, sleeping without living on adrenaline, and I continued to take a sip of my black coffee, trying to keep myself awake.
"You know, someday you're going to sleep and need to face those nightmares, even if you don't want to, you couldn't have prevented everything from happening." I looked up; Eliwa was leaning against the wall, her hair falling over her shoulder while her gaze was intense.
"She was nin; why was it not me; why her?" My voice was dead, and I continued drinking my bitter coffee.
"You were 11 yourself at the time; stop always blaming yourself for something you couldn't have prevented from happening; stop thinking about the what if's because it won't change any fact." I sighed.
"You're annoyingly right; you know that, huh?" She smiled at me, taking place next to me on the couch, placing her head on my shoulder.
"We're humans, we aren't perfect, neither will we ever be, let what happened to stay in the past and move on with everything remembered inside our hearts." I drunk the last bit of my coffee, placing the mug down.
"We need to get I am going to my parents and sisters graves tomorrow," I said, whispering under my breath.
"We will be beside you." I looked up, my eyes catching Lily's, who gave me a nod, and perhaps from now things will get easier, not better; easier.

Wang Yibo's POV
"ZHENG FANXING, COME HERE!" I laughed while watching Zhan chasing Fanxing, who only wore a boxer, running through the house at this late hour, probably the neighbours would come to complain tomorrow, but for tonight the atmosphere for once felt lively.
It took us a long to decide, but in the end, Zhan and I adopted Fanxing and kept his real birth name instead of changing it to Zhan or mine, and it was cute to watch the scene.
"Yibo, don't stand there like a statue, come help me! He's your son too!" I laughed behind my hand, watching Zhan continuing his chase while Fanxing suddenly ran behind me, hiding.
"Mommy! Help me; daddy is a monster!" My laugh suddenly died away while I raised an eyebrow; this time, Zhan burst out in a bright roar of laughter.
"Who told you to call me mommy?" I glanced at Fanxing, who quickly ran towards Zhan, putting on his doe eyes and pointing at Zhan, so I shifted my gaze to him, and he smiled at me, rubbing his hand in his neck.
"Daddy told me to call you mommy!" He smiled, blinking his big doe eyes.
"Xiao Zhan," I muttered his name under my breath while he started running towards our shared room, and I chased him.
When I ran into our room, I suddenly got tackled on the bed by Zhan, who started tickling me, and I couldn't hold back a laugh while trying to do it back.
"Daddy! Mommy! I wanna play too!" Both Zhan and I immediately stopped, glancing at little Fanxing, who was poutingly looking at us, which made Zhan and me share a glance before launching forwards.
Grabbing Fanxing in a tight hug and both started to tickle him.
A ray of moonlight fell into the room, but no one noticed as they continued their tickling, and the room got filled with the laughter of happiness.
