frankly, jikari felt like screaming. He couldn't help but feel like bursting into tears at this point. He felt like snapping, he couldn't control his feelings at this point. Jikari was so incredibly stressed out and he couldn't put all this pressure on Edith, he's the one working, so he has to deal with it. He felt so incredibly drained at this point he felt like the shell of a person. Jikari wishes more than anything he didn't try and get involved with making a business, he wishes he could go back and change his decisions.

He wished he could wake up every morning to his boyfriend sleeping peacefully in his arms. But things change: now, every morning he woke up to scattered papers, a sore back, and ink smudged across his face. He felt like he hadn't seen his boyfriend in days, he missed seeing ediths face, he missed his smile. He missed when he would move his bangs and they would hold eye contact before bursting into laughter. He missed everything about him. His touch, his smell, his voice, his stupid little comments that would fluster him. At this point he felt so far away from Edith, he felt like he didn't know him. Jikari would continue to pull at his hair as his thoughts slowly went from business to how much he missed being with Edith.

He couldn't focus on anything else, how would Edith react if he asked him out? It seemed anytime they talked now they'd end up screaming at one another. Jikari stood up, clearly stressed, but moved out of his office regardless. He tried not to stumble, though his lack of sleep was really catching up to him at that moment.

"hey, I'm going to bed, are you coming?" Jikari asked, into the living room, where he found out Edith slept. Whenever he went out of his office to make food, he typically would find him passed out on the couch. The thought that no one slept in the bed they once shared pained jikari. He didn't really understand why, but his mind seemed to be filled with the memories they had shared.

He listened for an answer, standing in the doorframe of their bedroom, but didn't hear one. Jikari felt a pain in his chest at the silence, but tried to shake it off. He quickly went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower, as he probably hadn't in days. For jikari the days seemed to blend together, he hadn't realized how much time had passed.

After dressing himself he went back into their bedroom, his hair dripping onto his shirt slightly. He felt his heart begin to race slightly as he saw Edith laying quietly on their bed, seemingly asleep. Jikari smiled, genuinely, knowing Edith was still there. He walked over towards the bed, laying down on it.

He turned himself to face Edith, gently moving his bangs out his face to see ediths eyes closed. He moved his arms, wrapping them around Edith as he slept soundly. He felt himself begin to cry, not a lot, but he was crying. He missed this. He missed it so much. He kissed the top of edith's head, closing his eyes and falling asleep, just like they used to.
