Jikari laid in his bed, his mind wondering, a soft smile on his face. He had never really caught feelings for someone, he never talked to people so it made sense. But now there was Edith, and he occupied his mind constantly.

Jikari would lay awake at night, trying to sleep, and his mind would go to Edith. He still wasn't sure why, but he didn't mind his thoughts, brushing them off as normal and probably platonic.

They in fact, were not platonic, no matter how much he wanted them to be. There wasn't a platonic explanation for why he would think about holding Edith's face and gently pressing his lips against the shorter boys. Or how he would dream about holding Edith close to himself as they watched romance movies.

One flaw, about these thoughts, was the fact that jikari thought they were normal thoughts, and everyone thought about their friends this way. So on occasion, he would mention it to Edith.

"I had a dream about you last night." He mentioned casually, running his hands through his hair.

The fact that Jikari was so casual about these thoughts, always flustered Edith. No matter how much he didn't want it too. "You did? What did we do?"

"Nothing really, mostly just watched movies and cuddled, I think. I don't exactly remember all of it." Jikari yawned, turning to face Edith.

Thankfully, jikaris answer allowed Edith to regain his composure. "Oh? Would you like to do that sometime, love?"

Jikari tensed to get frustrated at how easily Edith could fluster him, and how he was good at it. "I— excuse me?" He tended to face away from Edith when he was flustered , instead finding his bangs more intriguing than the flirt in front of him.

Edith always tended to tease jikari about being so easily flustered, and typically continue to flirt with jikari till he self combusted. Even though jikari was extremely embarrassed, he would never admit that he liked the sort of affection he got from the shorter boy. He liked the idea that Edith would only talk to him like that, it gave him butterflies. Generally, just the idea of Edith being near him gave jikari butterflies.
