Chapter 11: Final Fight P4/4

The ambulance rushed along, it was heading out of town as the three fought along side the road. The villain was extremely persistent and followed them as fast as he could. But Henry and James weren't going to let him take her, you know they weren't.

James sliced with his weapon of choice, cutting bloody lines in the enemy's skin. Henry rushed after him, tail whacking him and claws slicing him. They weren't giving in and neither was the villain. He struck the back of the ambulance, making it shake back and forth.

The heart monitor beeped a bit out of pace, she was loosing stability. The medical workers worked hard, doing their best to keep her stable for as long as possible. Raven leaned to the front, "Punch it!" Bitzen grabbed a gun, turned and leaned out the window, then shot the villain in the eyes area. It hit a few of his eyes, causing him to slow some and allowing Henry to knock him off path and into the concrete road dividers.

He turned and blew fire at the two, but unlike Henry, James wasn't fazed by it. He knocked the villain back by a couple yards, then attacking him with full force. Henry sliced the villain again, roaring and biting him viciously. The two fought against him, keeping him distracted, but not for long.

Meanwhile, the ambulance made it outside the city, "Wait, we're going outside the city limits?" The doctor asked confused as the nurses kept a check on Elly's heath as they went faster down the road. "We have no choice, there's way too many things he could use to hurt this ambulance with. And we have to get her to a safer location, so in the city isn't an option." Raven answered his question quick then had CC check out the back.

Before they could react, the villain hit the back of the vehicle which made it swerve off balance. They struggled to hold on and Jason struggled to keep the car going straight. They were hit again but couldn't stay on all 4 wheels, tumbling onto it's side and rolling out of control.

Dark was thrown out of the car along with everyone else, the villain had James knocked unconscious and now they couldn't get up in time for them to stop him. Henry burst from nowhere, grabbing Elly from the ground and running into the woods, hoping he could give the group time to recover and help him protect her.

He rushed, dodging and running, holding her weak body in his arms bridal style. He wasn't going to fail his mission, he wasn't going to let her die. But because he was a bit injured on his side, he couldn't risk shifting to his monster form.

He heard the villain roar at him, "Fight me! Show me your no coward! If you can't face me she'll be mine! And you'll watch her die!" He laughed crazily and kept getting closer to Henry, bitting at him and insulting him. Yet Henry stayed strong, strong enough to keep her safe.

He could feel her body weaken some, but something wasn't right. He looked down at her, orbs rushed out of her chest, circling the two as they kept a safe-ish distance from the villain that was close behind. The three orbs would smack the enemy in the face, hurting him badly, but he wasn't giving up.

Henry had traveled far, the Gang was able to follow because Raven and James could smell their blood. The Gang rushed, they were ready to help protect her, but they had to catch up first. And the villain wasn't giving in just yet, and they knew it.

As Henry ran he saw that the land was changing, but not in his favor. It was getting harder to keep running as the ground was rocky and he was still bleeding from his side. He ran and took a sharp turn to the right, he ran but had to stop. There was a wall, a rock wall, and he had little energy to try and climb it.

He looked down at her nearly lifeless body, as she could barely breathe without the help of the machine, he knew he had to fight or he'd loose her. He laid her down on the flat-ish rock near him, then turned to the villain.

Before he could react, the orbs rushed forward, morphing into shadowy figures that swarmed the villain who hollered in fear. He turned and ran, but the figures kept up, easily they followed him and he couldn't escape from them.

Henry picked her up carefully, then heard a roar of pain and fear. The forest went completely silent. He waited, but the Gang showed up, and asked him what happened. He explained and they were all confused about the experience. Unsure if he was dead, James and Jason walked over to the woods where he had last been heard at.

They got her back to the ambulance which by now another had been called and was helping everyone along with a few more showing up to help. The boys came back, Henry looked at Elly as she was put back in an ambulance, he spoke up but didn't look away, "So what did you find?"

James looked at Jason then back at Henry, "Well, let's just say someone kinda did your job for you. But he's not going to jail in anything other than a grave." All Henry could say was, "Good." He watched her ambulance door shut, seeing Raven and Torga within it, he knew she'd be fine.

Bitzen looked at them and asked what was on everyone's mind, "Now what?"
