Jett walked up the stairs from her workshop, still fuming from about the engine. She screamed her lungs out about the whole thing, she was surprised she still had a voice.

This is how the cycle went: Jett would get mad. She would scream profanities. Her voice would be nearly gone for the rest of the day. Then her throat would hurt like hell the next day. She typically wouldn't speak, eat a lot of tomato and chicken noodle soup, and drink a lot of orange juice. People would know not to talk to her, or at least ask her questions that weren't yes or no.

The other kids would bet to see how hoarse her voice would get. It was typically Jackson, Joseph and April. All Jett knew was that she needed to take a shower pronto. She had grease, oil, dust and other substances all over her clothes.

The dimly lit hallways seemed to fly by as April sprinted across the tile floors. She took strategic twists and turns to get to her destination.

'Okay, right then left, wait. Where are my signs? Did Phillip take them or something? I sure hope not. I'm gonna get lost or something.' April thought, slowing to a walk. Her boots clipped on the floor.

She saw a door that said "Boys' Bathroom" and asked herself, "Why, under any circumstances, would I need to go into the boys' bathroom?"

April decided to just shake it off and keep walking. 'Well, since the boys' bathroom is really close to Jett's workshop, I might as well see if she's there.'

April walked back where she came from, then turned left. A slate gray door stood in front of her. She opened it, and saw that the lights were out. 'Damn it,' She thought, 'I'll just pay her a visit tomorrow.'

April then turned to go back into her tunnels. She looked into the darkness, then muttered to herself, "I'll just go the normal way."

She turned around and shut the secret door. April then walked over to the large double doors, only to walk out into the hallway then up the stairs.

"Jett," Akio began, Jett looking up at him from her bowl of soup in response. "Why are you guys building a car? What are you gonna do with it, like, you already have a Jeep." Akio finished, and Jett shrugged, looking at Phillip.

"It's a surprise." Phillip simply stated, twirling his fork in the air.

Phillip was sitting at the end of the table. The boys were on the right side, and girls on the left. It was finally even. April sat in front of Jackson, Marie in front of Akio, Jett in front of Toby, and Heidi in front of Joseph. And that's how it's going to be as long as they're there.

Somehow, the entire group got on the topic of subjects they severely dislike.

"I hate math. Like a lot." Jett stated hoarsely, scooping the last of her tomato soup into her mouth.

"Wait, aren't you the mechanic?" Akio asked.
"Yeah, but I don't have to do math that much. Usually just surface area, volume, all that good stuff. I just try and avoid it as much as possible." Jett replied as she wiped her mouth with a napkin.

April caught Toby staring at Jett as she began talking to Heidi. She got Toby's attention, and tried, quite horribly, to wiggle her eyebrows. Toby looked confused, then April broke out in song.

"'Can you feeeel, the loooove toniiight!!!'" April sung. Toby put his head in his hands. Jett turned around, and April began laughing. They all had no idea what was going on.

"Really April? Really?" Marie said jokingly.
