Christmas Morning, What Delightful Joy.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS!" I could hear the chorus of shouts from Lily, Rose, and Justin as they ran down the halls waking up everybody. I heard the door opened and three little kids jumped on the bed. I opened my eyes and see Lily, Rose, and Justin. I rolled over in the sleeping bag and fell off the bed. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. "It's 7am in the morning." I said, "Yeah we all know that!" Rose said, "Can I sleep for a hour?" I made puppy dog eyes. "But Santa left you a very special gift." Lily pouted. "I'll come downstairs as soon as I brush my teeth." I got off the floor and unzipped myself from the sleeping bag.

I loved that we had a tradition of Christmas pajamas. I walked into the bathroom with Lily, Rose, and Justin following me. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. They dragged me out of the bathroom when I was done. "Guys it's not a big deal." I muttered as they ran downstairs. "Come on! Lizzy it came in the mail at 5am in the morning!" Lily tugged on my hand. When we got downstairs, our parents were downstairs already with a mug of coffee in each of their hands. I see a huge box with my name written all over the box. "Someone sent you this." My mom pointed out. "Who would send a big box?" I questioned as I examined the box.

I looked at the address. It's from Texas. Cole had something to do with this. "I think it's from Cole." I said, "Well open it!" Aunt Maria encourages, "We don't open presents until all the family members are here." I said, we all sat on the couches and waited for Drew. Finally ten minutes later, he walks in and sits. "Okay Justin you're the youngest so you go first. Then Lily, Rose, Drew, Elizabeth, Me, Thomas, and Vanessa." Aunt Maria said. Lily, Rose, and Justin had the same amount of presents. Drew had four and I had four. "Okay here's our gift to you." Uncle Thomas passed me a small box. I smiled and opened the box, it was a sliver charm bracelet with different charms.

"We picked out charms that described your personality." There was a surfboard, music note, and a heart. "Aw thank you!" I got up and hugged each of them. The second gift was from my mom. It was a medium sized box wrapped in Santa Claus paper. I opened it and founded the perfect gift. "No way, mom! You got me the long board that I've always wanted?" I was shocked, she always hated that I skated. "Of course." I got up again and hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. Now the third present was from Justin, Lily, Rose, and Drew. Which I'm kind of scared of what the outcome will be. It was a small box, yet it was heavy. I opened it and find rocks. Rocks with drawings all over them. "We painted them ourselves!" Justin proudly said, I grinned. "I love it. Thanks Rose, Lily, Justin, and Drew."

"Now open that package from your boyfriend!" Drew pointed at the package. I rolled my eyes, it was a huge box which I don't know what would he send me. "Here's scissors." My mom passed me the scissors. "What in the world?" I found a whole lot of bubble wrap and tape. I took it out and unwrapped it. "What is that?" Rose poked the figurine. It was a figurine of us and it was the most cutest thing ever. "It's a figurine of Cole and I." The figurine was painted and had red painted hearts surrounding us. "That's your boyfriend?" Drew had his phone in hand and was looking at a picture of us at the Christmas tree shopping. "Yes Drew, that's Cole." I said, "He looks like a dork." Well Drew, you look like a monkey.

"He does not!" I denied, "I mean seriously beanies?" Drew pointed at the beanie, Cole was wearing that day. "I wear beanies!" I said, "Sometimes not all the time." Drew said, "Oh come on kids, it's Elizabeth's boyfriend. I think they look perfect together." Aunt Maria said, I grinned. "Mom! But look at that. Seriously." Drew whined. I have to say, nothing like spending time with the family.
