I Knew You Were Trouble.

The Kitten Situation

I watched as Cole paced back and forth. I was holding the kitten and scratching it, Dalton just merely smiled. "Well Elizabeth likes the kitty." "Where in the world did you get a kitten?" Cole asked, "Well it all started when Madison told me her friend's cat had kittens and asked if I wanted one. So of course being the nicest person ever, I took one because it was so cute," Dalton paused, "And the idea came up in my head to give it to you for Thanksgiving." He finished and petted the kitten. "I can keep it." I said, "How about your mom and dad?" Cole asked, "They wouldn't want me to be sad, so I'm pretty sure they'll let me keep it." I said as the kitten curled into a ball and started sleeping in my lap. Cole sighed and sat next to me, he tried to pet the kitten but it hissed at him. Well that's what I think it did, "It doesn't even like me!" Cole exclaimed, "That sucks." I said as I petted it's head. "Is it a girl or a boy?" I asked, "It's a girl." Dalton replied, Cole tried to pet it again and it hissed at Cole again. "Mental note, cats do not like me." Cole muttered, making Dalton and I laugh. "Well anyways I'm going home. Have fun." Dalton got up and walked to the door. He unlocked it and walked out, Cole walked to the door and locked it.

"So what are you going to name the kitten?" Cole asked, "How about Cole?" I smirked, "Hey that's a nice name...Hey! Eli that's mean!" Cole said,  "Yeah it's mean to the kitten." I said, "That hurts even more, might as well get a goldfish and name it Elizabeth!" Cole exclaimed, I thought for a while until I got the perfect name. "I like Athena." I finally said, the kitten meowed, "I think she likes it." Cole stared at the kitten. "Do you like Athena?" I asked in a baby voice, "That is one of the most girliest thing, you had ever done." Cole said in shocked. I looked at the clock and see it's already nine, "Shoot, it's already nine." I said, "Let's go then." Cole said, we both got off the couch and he grabbed his car keys. We walked outside, with Athena in my arms. We got into the car, buckled ourselves, and Cole glared at Athena. "She's going to take you away from me." Cole muttered and started the car. "Aw is Cole jealous of a witty kitty?" I said in a baby voice. "I swear your baby voice freaks me out." Cole said, "Trying to change the subject." I stated, "One, I'm not trying to change the subject. Second, I feel normal." Cole said.

"Uh huh." About twenty minutes later, Cole parked in front of my house. I look outside and see Christmas lights on the house and a wreath on the door. Cole got out of the car first and I was about to open the door but Cole opened it for me. "Thanks." I said as we walked up to my house. We stopped at my front door, "Look up." Cole said, I looked up and see a mistletoe hanging. My mother probably hung that up. "Now you have to kiss me." Cole smirked, "I rather kiss a dog." I joked, he rolled his eyes. I peck his lips quickly and he didn't even had time to react. "That wasn't a kiss!" Cole pouted, "Do you want to get scratched by Athena?" I asked, "No..........but it'll be worth it." He leaned forward and soon his soft lips were on mine. Those warm, tingling feelings erupted inside of me as we kissed. I loved that both of his warm hands were cupping my cold cheeks. He pulled away, "And that is a kiss." He smiled, "You're lucky that you didn't get scratched." I smirked, "Well I'm that awesome." He popped his imaginary collar, "Well this is goodnight." I said, "The end of the night is always depressing." He dramatically said and sighed, "Oh ha ha, Cole. Night." I said as I unlocked my door. I was halfway to closing my door, "Wait!" Cole shouted, I opened the door and see Cole standing there still. "You forgot this."

He walked towards me and kissed me again. Here is when my legs turn jelly and I lose balance. He pulled away, "What was that for?" I asked, "The mistletoe kiss doesn't count as a goodnight kiss." He winked and walked back to his car. I closed the door, I checked the door window and see Cole fist pumping and dancing. I laughed, I walked upstairs to my room and place Athena on my bed. I changed into my pajamas and went to go brush my teeth. After I walked back to my room and closed the door. I turned off the lights and got into my bed, I grabbed my other people and hugged it. I was about to fall asleep but I heard a meow. My eyes flew opened as I grabbed my phone, I found her at the end of my bed. She was starting to curl up into a ball and fall asleep. I sighed in relief and put my phone back before falling asleep.

-Next Morning-

"ELIZABETH ALLISON MORGAN! WHY IS THERE A FELINE IN YOUR BED?" I rolled off my bed and landed on my floor with a thud. My mother must really hate cats, I thought. I opened my eyes and see my mother looking at me with disapproval. "It's a Sunday morning, mother. That's Athena, my kitten." I pointed at Athena, who was licking her paws on my bed. "Did you ever ask about getting a cat with me?" My mother stared at Athena with disgust. "Stop looking at Athena like that! It's Cole's and mine!" I said, my mother sighed and walked downstairs, muttering about teenagers. I got off the floor and petted Athena. "See? My mother doesn't understand." Athena meowed, I grabbed her gently and carried her to the bathroom with me. She watched with curiosity as I got ready. Today I was planning to wear eyeliner. I finished applying eyeliner and I carried Athena back to my room. I closed the door and put Athena on my bed before going to my closet. I chose a plain v-neck tee, jeans, combat boots, and leather jacket. I laced up my boots before grabbing my phone. "We're going to need cat supplies." I muttered, I carried her downstairs with me and text messaged Dad, "Hey dad, I got a kitty. Ya ya I know. I'm going to buy supplies for her today." "K, don't use all of the money on the card. We'll go 2 the animal shelter tomorrow for it's shots and license." I smiled, "Thanks dad! Talk 2 ya later." I sent and grabbed a water bottle and granola bar.

"JUSTIN WANT TO COME WITH ME?" I shouted, he walked into the kitchen and sees me with Athena. "When did you get a kitty!" Justin instantly petted Athena. "Last night, Dalton randomly gave it to Cole and Cole was freaking out so I told him that I can keep it." I said, "It's so cute! Why didn't you tell me! What's the name?" Justin asked, "Her name's Athena and you were asleep. So do you want to go get the supplies or no?" I asked, "Yes!" Justin said and followed me out of the door, I locked it and opened the garage. Justin sat in the back with Athena, I started up the car and back out of the driveway. I closed the garage door and went off to Pet smart. About fifteen minutes later, I parked the car and Justin got out of the car with Athena. I got a cart before going in, Justin instantly walked to the cat toys section. Then we went to the cat food section, litter box section, cat grooming tools section, and the cat beds section. I was so happy when we finally finished and paid for it. "Word on the street is that you're single, so baby have you heard my single?"  I pulled out my phone from my pocket, Cole's calling. "Hey Cole." I said as Justin and I started putting the stuff in my car.

"Hey Eli, what's up?" "I'm currently putting cat supplies into my car's trunk and you?" I said, "I'm at the studio." I bet that one of them is trying to eavesdrop on Cole right now. "Cool, look I'm about to start my car so I have to go." I said, "Aw fine, Eli. Have fun with Athena." Cole said, "Okay bye Cole." I said and hung up. I started the car and backed out of the parking space. "Can we go get Jamba Juice?" Justin asked, "Okay Justin, we have to sit outside though." I said, "Fine with me!" He smiled.

-Cole's P.O.V-

"I can't believe you're jealous of a cat. A cat, Cole! That's hilarious!" Dana said and slapped his knees. "Shut up, Dana! It's Dalton's fault." I said, "Hey! I thought she might had stood you up so I brought a kitten to cheer you up." Dalton protested, "She asked me out. Not the other way around." I said, "I thought Cody Simpson was going to kiss her." Gabe said, right there. I wanted to just hit my head on the wall, repetitively. "So when are you guys going on another date?"  Will asked, "I don't know. We haven't thought about that." I said, "Did you already kiss her?" Gabe asked, "That's none of your business." I blushed, "That blush you have on your cheeks! You guys have kissed!" Dalton said, "Well so? You and Madison do that too!" I said, he blushed. "Okay enough of the dating questions and let's just get started on this new track." Will said, "Boring." Dana said as we got into the booth.

CATS.....

Okay this may not be such a big deal for you but for me, it's like my life. I'm going to meet Cody Simpson. He's my idol (Besides IM5) and for me to meet him is the best thing that could happen. I was so happy that I'm on Christmas break but I've would've skipped school just for him. I'm seriously I went down on my knees when my mom walked in the door and started begging. I cried when she said yes. MONDAY COME FASTER.
