〄 The getaway driver 〄

It had been a while since Chaehyun had last been on social media, let alone done a solo live and on the day that he finally blessed fans with content, he didn't even show himself in the live.

His phone was propped up on a tripod of books, facing the sofa and blank wall whilst he stood off to the side completely out of frame and had been refusing to show his face for the past 10 minutes.

"So I presume everyone is here- well the majority of you are, so I decided to host this live because I wanted to show you guys something. I think I look great and if you don't like it then sorry but you do not have taste."

With that, he stepped into frame and sat down on the sofa. He was all smiley and looking very proud with his winged liner that he had actually done himself and his painted nails.

He felt amazing and he was so proud of himself for finally nailing the wing, so his first reaction had been to show the fans.

"Don't i look great?!" He asked, the excitement making his voice sound much higher than usual.

The grin on his face never faded as he posed for the fans, who filled the comments with compliments. In the process of posing, he suddenly stopped and leaned closer to the camera to read a comment that caught his eye.

"Sorry but I need to read this- if I was gonna be a runaway bride would you be my getaway driver?" He looked unsure for a second before he broke out into a grin. "Of course! Oh my god! Everyone in this live can come too! Czennie meet up! Helping this person escape a wedding!"

He clapped his hands excitedly at the idea. Chaehyun would genuinely get someone out of a wedding that they didn't wanna be apart of. He wouldn't even asked questions, he would just do it purely for the thrill.

"I can't wait for Mark to get married, you know? Like- how would that go down? Mark Lee is singlehandedly one of the most awkward people I have ever met and I just feel like he would blush at the idea of having to kiss his partner in front of all us."

At this point, Chaehyun was just thinking out loud. For the viewers watching him, it honestly felt like a FaceTime.

"Pretend I'm Mark at the altar!"

Chaehyun quickly got into character as Mark.

"Yo like, I feel like I love you and I just like can't wait to like spend the rest of my life with you like dude you're like super awesome and like you just make me so happy a- wait yo what? I have to kiss them in front of my parents? Dude! Yoooo hahaha, that is so awkward dude."

Chaehyun was extra hyper and it wasn't hard to notice. Maybe it was the eyeliner and painted nails that had given him a serotonin boost, or maybe he was just high on life. Nobody really knows, but the viewers were certainly having a fun time.

"How do they fill up oxygen tanks?" He asked after a moment of silence. "Like- am I dumb or what? Like how do they do that?"

He focused on the comments rolling in, hoping to find an answer to his question but the majority of things he was seeing was just people calling him cute or trying to accuse him of being high — which he wasn't.

He was just very hyper.

"Sweetie, are you drunk? No Sweetie, I'm Lachlan, duh."

Truthfully, Chaehyun couldn't remember the last time he had drank alcohol, which is a good thing but he was also just in a good mood for once.

"I'd trust you with my drink at a party- well yeah to be honest baby cakes, I'd just end up drinking it if I'm perfectly honest with you."

Chaehyun was speaking from experience because once at an SM Halloween party, he was asked to hold Red Velvet Joy's drink and well he ended up downing it in one — she still hasn't forgiven him, she was enjoying that drink.

"Chae, some girl in my class is under the impression that she's dating you." The second the words rolled off his tongue, Chaehyun sat back in his seat with a 'are you for real?' look. "Does she know that her 'boyfriend'...has a boyfriend?"

Giving the camera the unimpressed side eye, he reached for his coffee and took a sip feeling the need to hydrate after that comment.

"Anyway, I nearly roundhouse kicked Jungwoo yesterday."
