"Get him out of here! That's it! Bail set at $10,000, probation and 45 hours of community service. I'm done. Mr. Crippen, you're free to go. Now, get out of my court room!" The judge yelled.

I saw the first set of officers drag Andrea's dad out as the second set removed the handcuffs from my mother and father. My dad walked past us, smiling evilly and licking his lips when he saw Andrea and I had just had enough.

"Did you not hear me, get out of here! Security!"" The judge yelled.

"Come on, Craig, lets just go." Andrea said, sighing as the guards came in trying to wheel me out but I locked the wheels.

"No. Absolutely not. I will not be on the same street, same home or same room with those monsters. They deserve to sit in prison every single second of the minute of the hour of the day. They deserve to rot in hell and receive all the pain and abuse and suffering they've put us through, don't you understand that? Do you?" I said. I was so mad, tears were rushing down my face.

"I'm sorry, the case is closed. Next!" She yelled, pounding the mallet.

"Wait! What about that case you solved and settled in 2013? Smith vs. Peterson, Case 3026478120085723/17B where the case had already been closed and you let Jamel go back on the streets. He almost killed us, my friends and their baby. He raped her multiple times and even tried to kidnap her. If people had gotten hurt or even worse, died, their deaths and blood would have been on your hands. Do you have children?" I asked trying the hardest to persuade her to prosecute my parents.

"Yes. Yes, I do but your point is..." She trailed.

"My point is if your children were raped, abuse, kidnapped and almost kill and the judge handling the case closed it, letting the criminal go on raping and killing others like your family, how would you feel?" I said, my voice cracking. I was loosing it from yelling and screaming.

"I guess that'd be an accurate comparison. I'll take that into consideration, 45 minute recess. If prosecuted, they could serve life." She pounded the mallet once again.

Just as we were about to go out, there was alot of commotion behind us. I turned to see my dad and mom trying to take the gun from an officer. Many times it was pointed towards us as everyone got on the ground. I was about to duck then, all I know is everything went black and the last sound I heard was a pop and screaming.
