Short-ish Chapter

Dream POV

After waiting a few minutes a black SUV pulled up in front of us. We both grab our suitcases, a middle aged man comes out of the car to put our suitcases in his trunk. We both made our way to the back seats of his car. Before we started driving the middle aged man said his name was John and asked where we were heading. "We are going to surprise your friend that lives at Kingshome." I watched as the man's eyes went wide, I got a little confused so did Sapnap. Not wanting to seem rude Sapnap calmly spoke.

"Why did your eyes go wide when you found out it is Kingshome? Is something wrong?" The man seemed to snap out of whatever he was thinking and frantically spoke "Oh no of course not, just Kingshome is the most expensive place in the whole city. Only people that make millions of pounds a month live there. The rent could probably buy 10 to 20 of my cars. Your friend must be really important to live there. The higher they live in the building it costs more for rent because of the view. I have only heard of it, no one really goes in unless a person calls the guard to go in personally. I have never been in there much less stepped past the gate." Sapnap and I turn to each other, both of our eyes wide.

"How many floors are there?" I ask out of pure curiosity. "No one really knows for sure but I am pretty sure there are only twenty floors, and whoever owns the twentieth floor also owns some of the roof." My jaw drops when I remembered that George livs on the twentieth floor. Sapnap seemed to almost make this connection since his jaw was wide open, frozen in shock. "Wow, I wonder who lives there. We are surprising our friend for his birthday, he said he would call the gate when the person is five minutes away." I smiled at John. "Well that means we have to get a move on. Both of you young men please put your seatbelt on and I will alert you when we are five minutes away." Sapnap and I sat back and put our seatbelts on.

We both sat in comfort silence looking out the windows watching as the buildings as they flew by. Until John suddenly spoke up "We are 8 minutes away, I wanted to tell you guys since you guys probably know what to do when we get there. Can one of you explain it to me?" Before Sapnap could speak up I started to.

George POV

I finally got home to find it completely spotless thanks to Miss Hatt. I went to go check to see if she was sleeping in her bedroom. I knocked on her door "Give me a minute Mr.Davidson!" I softly chuckle "Take your time, I will be waiting in the living room, meet me when you are ready!" I shout back. I made my way to the living room, checked my phone to see a text from Dream saying the gift was only 5 minutes away. I quickly texted back

Make sure to text the person not to say thank you for anything, I forgot to say that earlier. If they do they will get weird looks. Just let them know that in order for them to get through quicker.

I quickly called the guard to let him know about the present arriving that was being personally delivered. After letting him know I hung up without saying goodbye. As soon as I hung up I saw Miss Hatt rushing into the living room. "Hey Miss Hatt, I told you take your time. I wanted to let you know you did an amazing job. I also bought you something which I will be giving you in like 10 minutes, I would give it now but I have something arriving in 4 minutes." I smiled at her "Thank you Mr.Davidson" I chuckled a little bit at her calling me by my last name "Miss Hatt, call me George or anything else besides my last name. It sounds a little funny hearing it from someone I care about. Also I suggest taking a warm bath, I got some bath bombs for you or you can take a shower in your personal bathroom." She smiled widely at me and went off to shower.

Dream POV

After explaining what to do once we got there John thanked me for some odd reason. I felt the car slow, John rolled down his window saying what I told him to say earlier, the gold gates opening slowly. My eyes wided a little seeing the buildings exterior making me wonder how it would look on the inside. "We are here now. Don't worry about paying, seeing this is enough for me." Sapnap and I thanked him, before we were able to open our own doors the valet man opened it for us. John giving the valet man our suitcases. Both of us remembering what George said earlier we didn't thank him.

We both headed inside with the vatel man following behind us with our suitcases, once we made our way to the elevator the man carrying our suitcases quietly gave them to the elevator man. "Floor 20" I said without even glancing at him. As soon as I finished he quickly moved to press the upper arrow button when the doors opened. He waited for us to go in first following soon after. Sapnap and I made eye contact, both a little shocked at how fancy the lobby seemed.

The elevator seemed to slow, a faint ding, the doors opening, us stepping out first the man with our suitcases following. I saw a white door, two pillars on each side with gold accents. I nugged Sapnap to follow me, we made our way to the door. Deciding if we should knock or the doorman should. My thoughts were caught off by a loud muffled ding which was a doorbell that the doorman pressed. As soon as we heard some faint shuffling from the other side, the odd door man quickly put down our suitcases and quickly made his way back to the elevator.

Might write another chapter right now. So which means maybe 4 chapters in one day even though it's 2am.
