Escaping

Gaia was in her room reading more about her Phoenix, but the only thing she got from it was the creature is mythical, powerful, and chaotic. She was so into her book that she didn't realize Wanda coming into her room. "Trying to find some things about yourself, I see."

Gaia jumped up and threw a power ball at Wanda but Wanda deflected it before it hit her. "Oh my god! Wanda, I'm so sorry! You caught me off guard."

Wanda chuckled and says, "It's fine."

Wanda sat at the edge of her bed and asks, "Find anything yet?"

Gaia shakes her head and says, "All I found was the stuff that I already know."

Gaia throws the book across the room and says, "This is useless."

Wanda goes to say something until they both hear a loud explosion from downstairs. They both look at each other and then started to run downstairs.

When they got there, they were both looking out the window. Vision phases up to the floor they were on. Wanda asked, "What is it?"

Vision said, "Stay here, please."

He phases through the window to check it out. Wanda and Gaia watch, but Gaia senses someone behind them.

She uses her telekinesis to pick up a knife from the cutting board aiming it at the person, and stopped it before it could hit their head.

When she sees who it is, she sighs in disbelief. It was Clint.

He moves the knife from his face and says, "Guess I shoulda knocked."

Wanda and Gaia both walk up to him as Wanda says, "What are you doing here?"

He walks closer to them saying, "Disappointing my kids."

He shoots two arrows to both sides of the room. "I'm supposed to go water skiing. Cap needs our help. Come on."

He grabs Wanda's and Gaia's hand and pulls them towards the exit but stops when Vision phases through the wall and says, "Clint. You should not be here."

Clint turns around and says, "Really? I retire for like what? Five minutes, and it all goes to crap."

Vision warns him, "Please consider the consequences of your actions."

Clint says, "Okay, they're considered."

He presses a button and all of a sudden, Vision is in an electrical trap. "Okay, we gotta go." Clint says.

He pulls Wanda expecting Gaia to follow but stops once he realizes she's not. He looks at her and says, "Come on, it's this way."

Gaia looks at her hands and plays with her sleeves while saying, "I've caused enough problems."

Clint groans and jogs back over to her saying, "You gotta help me here. Look, you wanna mope, you can go to highschool. You wanna make amends, get off your ass."

Gaia goes to respond but stops when Vision breaks out of the trap.

Clint notices and says, "Crap."

Vision and Clint start to fight for a little bit but when Vision gets Clint in a headlock, that's when Gaia decides that it needs to stop. "You can't overpower me Clint." Vision says.

Clint says, "I know I can't but they can."

He gestures to Gaia and Wanda, as Gaia goes in front of the two, an energy force in her hands and says, "Vision. That's enough, let him go. We're leaving."

Vision looks at her and says, "I can't let you."

Gaia takes control of the stone, making Vision let go of Clint.

Gaia says, "We're sorry." as she continues pushing him to the ground.

Vision says, "If you do this, they will never stop being afraid of you. Both."

Gaia says, "We can't control their fear, only our own." and pushes him down through the floors.

When she feels that he's down enough, she stops. Clint comes up behind Wanda and her and says, "Come on. We got one more stop."
