" Cαɴ'т нold oɴ αɴy loɴɢer Aɴd ɴow I'м ғαllιɴɢ ғor yoυ"The drive to the lake house was a long one. Mackenzie couldn't help but admire the views outside of the car window, she would never see these kind of views back home, everything there is dull and all you see is buildings and never any real nature.
She was fantasied by the dark shades of green reflecting within the forests of tall dark oak trees which reached over 100m and plunged into the sky, the birds flew around them looking for predators and protecting their young chicks.
Pulling up to the lake house Mackenzie looked out and saw the most beautiful, rustic house she had ever seen, it was like the ones she fantasied about in her dreams of getting away from the big city.
The Feders were the first ones to arrive, pulling into a spot beside a very small car, with Rob and his wife Gloria inside. The Lamonsoffs pulled in just a second later after pulling in front of the other men with Eric shouting, "Gotta respect the Caddy."
Lenny exited his car, talking to Rob, more like teasing.
Everyone left their cars admiring the Lake house, except for the Feder boys they didn't seem too impressed. Typical Mackenzie thought. Mackenzie walked ahead of her family amazed at the lake house and wanting to take in every second of it.
Johnathan was equally as amazed but not by the house.
"It's cute, it'll do for one night." Roxanne said looking at the lake house.
"Yeah you can handle it?" Lenny replied to her. "Just look at Kenzie, she loves it."
Bath parents look ahead to where their daughter is standing, smiling upon seeing the bright, bubbly smile on her face, which they rarely see back home.
The families all head to the door of the lake house. At the door there is a bug zapper, a device which attracts and kills flying insects that are attracted to light, particularly moths.
"Daddy, what is that machine doing?" Becky asked her father, after spotting the electric blue trap.
"It's getting rid of the moths, honey." Lenny replied, forgetting he shouldn't have said that to someone of Becky's age.
"Where's it taking them?" Becky asked.
"Hell," replied Higgins sarcastically, walking in front of the Feder family.
Earning himself a disapproving glance from Roxanne and a response from Lenny, "Don't say that Higgins."
"I'm sorry. Not hell, Mexico," Higgins replied.
"No i-it's giving them electricity," Stumbled Lenny, not exactly knowing how to respond, "So the moth falls asleep electrically."
"It's electrocuting them?" Cried Becky. Mackenzie couldn't help but feel sorry for her younger sister, she was too young to see this, she was so innocent.
Lenny began to panic, "No, no, no."
"But, Daddy, they're dying." Cried Becky.
"It's killing them?" yelled two of the younger girls, Donna and Charlotte.
"No," panicked Lenny.
"Daddy, no," cried Becky, eyes tearing up.
"No, no. It's not." replied Lenny, walking up towards the bug zapper, "Okay? Let me adjust it."
