chapter 4: An unknown enemy.

That swing felt good, If we keep up the good work, I'm convinced we can exorcise the curse, when I look at Ryu he seems pissed( is it bad that I enjoy that more than a bowl of good ramen),

- that was a decent technic, says Ryu.

- If you're not careful, I might be the one who exorcise that curse.

- don't get cocky because you landed a good shot, look over there.

I turn around and see the curse regenerating, it didn't even took him 30 seconds to regenerate, that's a 1st grade curse for you, we're gonna have to do a lot better to exorcise it. We both take our guard ready to charge at the curse, the demon dog charge first followed by Ryu, the two attack from different angles, the curse is cornered which leaves an opening and I'm ready to take it, I charge at full speed by enhancing my legs, when I get close enough to the curse, I put everything I have in my sword and swing, my sword shatter in many pieces the curse is unwounded, what happened? did the curse destroy my sword? no, I doubt it, I don't have the time to think the curse is fighting back and it hit us really hard, but thanks to my new power I managed to reduce the damages to a bare minimum, demon dog took the hit for Ryu, so I think he will survive,

- hey, what the hell are you doing? you moron.

- I don't know, what happened either, I just...

- You imbued to much cursed energy in your sword, an object will be destroyed when you do that.

that voice, it's Fushiguro senpai he penetrated the temple,

- I understand now, so are you here to help us?

-No, not yet, I haven't seen you giving your all.

- Now I have a problem, my sword is broken I cannot wield it anymore.

- It's look like you're still falling behind even with the help from a curse.

He uses another of the 10 Shikigami that Fushiguro senpai wields, cursed exchange-10 shadows technique: Rabbit Escape, he summons big number of rabbit to distract the curse, he takes advantage of that to close the gap then release the rabbits and resummons demon dog, and attack the curse again, I follow him and attack, if I can't use my sword then I'll just use my fists.

The curse seem to have a hard time to defend against us, but suddenly there's a weird smell that fill the entire temple, when I look at my feet I see flowers blooming everywhere in the room. Now I remember the intel we received about the curse, It was believed to be the god of the harvest, so now I understand why it can use this technique, we both fall back but the curse doesn't see it that way, many thorns come out of nowhere, Ryu switch from demon dog to max elephant, it produce a huge quantity of water, the curse is repelled out of the temple, but at the same time Ryu collapse on the floor his nose is bleeding, I guess he used up all his cursed energy,

- Finish it up, says Ryu, you moron.

I jump on the occasion and concentrate my curse energy in my fist to exorcise it, but just when I'm about to exorcise it, a hand pierces through its chest, there's somebody else behind him,

-Who are you? I ask the person.

- you don't need to know my name yet, mr Shimada.

It's a woman, as she says that, she absorbs the curse, I wonder what kind of curse technique is that and how the hell does she knows my name? suddenly I'm brought back to my senses by fushiguro-senpai,

- Ojiro takes care of Ryu, he says that as he put Ryu down near me, First I'll take you to jujutsu tech after you surrendered, then you will tell me everything I need know, like how you know Ojiro.

- Megumi Fushiguro the special grade sorcerer from jujutsu tech, I'm honored, I didn't expect you to be here.

- I don't want to fight, so surrender and I wont hurt you.

- I'm afraid I cannot allow that to happen.

As she pronounce those words, many curses appear out of nowhere, does that mean that girl has the power of controlling curses, I've heard of it, but I didn't know that there was someone who could use it. All the curses attack Fushiguro-senpai from everywhere, he responds to that with cursed exchange-10 shadows technique: Nue, the big bird take flight with his electrified wings and start exorcising the curses, it opens a path for senpai who attack with a cursed tool (that appeared out of nowhere) the woman who was trying to flee, she barely dodge his attack,

- Those are not real curses, I can tell by looking at the flow of curse energy, they are more like shikigamis.

- To think that you could find the true nature of my technique, with just one assault, you are right! They are not curses, with this technique I can use all the curses I have exorcised as my own shikigamis, isn't my technique amazing .

Why is she telling us that, she should have kept it secret, with that kind of information senpai can come up with a plan to bring her down,

- What do you hope to achieve by giving us that kind of information? asks senpai.

- I just needed some time for this.

An enormous curse or rather a shikigami appear out of nowhere,

- not only can I use the curses as my shikigami, but I can also combine them to create a powerful curse like this one, ahahah...

damn it, I can tell that this curse is really powerful, it's gonna be hard to bring both the girl and the shikigami down,

- just so you know, this is a combination of two 1st grade cursed spirit, I would like to see how you exorcise it, but I'm afraid that I have to go, bye...

she walk away while the shikigami charge at us,

All of sudden everything is black, but I can see senpai fighting the curse, many snakes emerge form the shadows and bite the shikigami from everywhere, the shikigami is fighting back the snakes but then many birds like nue attacks the shikigami from above, then it's the turn of the demon dogs, its one wave after another, the shikigami overwhelmed, try to run away, but it's futile we are in a closed domain, there is no where to go, when the shikigami realizes it, it attack senpai at full speed suddenly all the shikigami disappears and senpai stab it with a spear, it might be a cursed tool.

I knew that special grade sorcerer were on a whole other level, but after witnessing this, I realize how big the gap between me and our senpai is, the cursed spirit was really strong, I think it could be classified as a special grade but Fushiguro senpai didn't flinch or hesitate, it was almost like he was holding back, this man is a monster!
