Rin's pov

You bastard, get back.
No! I will not let you hurt him, even if it kills me.
Oh how foolish you are. You can't do anything but simply grasp the fading light.

Third person's pov

"Amaimon, glad you could join us." Satan said, greeting his son. "How about you go round the town for a bit, what about the world? You'd like that yes?"

"Out. Of. The. Way." The ground began to shake and cracks spread out. Demons screamed, ran, flew, crawled to get away from the Earth King. No one wanted to stay and suffer under his wrath.

"That is no way to talk to me. Not only your father but King of Gehenna."
The pavement split open, swallowing a few slow demons in the process.

"Satan or not, you will be 1000 feet underground if you do not move." Amaimon glanced in Rin's direction, the boy seemed to be having a battle within himself.

"Father, move out of the way, will you. This is wrong and you know it."

"No Egyn. This is the only way to get what we want." Another of Satan's sons appeared behind him.

"You can't defeat Amaimon. You can hurt him, ruin him, but you can't kill him. You couldn't before, you can't now."

"Don't you start Azazel. Besides, all demons in Gehenna must listen and obey their ruler."

"We aren't in Gehenna anymore. Father." Lucifer appeared beside him. "You have no power but your flames here. All the demon Royals against Satan? Sounds interesting."

"Not all. You don't have Samuel."

"Ah but they do." The demon of time smirked. "As much as I am selfish, I choose my family over anything."

Samuel's pov
Back in time, about 10 minutes earlier

"All of us against Father. My, my it's almost irresistible." He sat there pondering over his options. "Then again, I do have a whole realm to myself. Decisions, decisions."

There was a loud crash just outside the door, followed by a few grunts and swears.

Samuel rose and stormed over to the door. "Who's there! I demand you reveal yourself to me."

"It's me, the royal guard sir. I am ever so sorry to be here, I fell through a hole in the ground created by your brother." The guard opened the doors and instantly bowed.

"For a guard you're smart. Knowing who I was as soon as my voice reached those filthy ears of yours."

The demon hung his head in shame. "I will clean those instantly sir."

"Hm." Suddenly an idea struck Samuel right in the face. "I have it! You, guard, stay here and watch over Gehenna until I get back. Am I understood?"

"Yes sir. I will give my life to protect Gehenna!"

"I won't have to miss the fight after all!"

Third person's pov

He knew where the 'ceremony' was going to be so he created a teleport that would take him to a street behind.

He wanted to make a dramatic entrance, luckily, his father gave him the opportunity.

"Not all. You don't have Samuel."
This was his moment, he walked towards the group, stopping just behind Amaimon.

"Ah, but they do." He smirked. "As much as I am selfish, I choose my family over anything." He saw Astaroth raise an eyebrow at the clear lie, which he ignored and would address later, if they survived this fight. "Now, how's my youngest brother doing with an elder demon inside him?"

Everyone stared in shock, minus Satan and Amaimon, who had managed to get away whilst Samuel was distracting them.

"An elder demon? Like those in fathers stories? You can't be serious Samuel. Those aren't real."

"Oh but they are. Aren't they father?"

Satan scowled. "Yes. They are real. I managed to find one after so many years, so many sacrifices. They are more powerful than anyone imagined. I made a deal with it, I promised Rin as a host. It's been inside him ever since he took his first breath of this world's air."

Amaimon's Pov

I managed to sneak away after Samuel made his grand appearance. As much as I was blind with rage I still had a bit of sense about me. Rin's eyes were glazed over, a pained expression plagued his face.
I stared at him, imagining the toothy grin that would be constantly showing, the snarky remarks he made. The usual glow in his eyes that would almost make me smile.

I knew in fairy tales a kiss would break him out of it, yet this was no fairy tale. This was the nightmare that would break the world.
