Ω |PART 7| Ω

After breakfast Nico walked me to the Hades cabin. He opened the door and I was hit with a cold blown. You would say that a vampire lived there.

"This is.... dark." I said as I looked around. There was a queens size bed in the middle, two bunk beds on either sides of the room that pretty much blocked all the light. The bathroom was in the back and a small closet was in the right corner.

"I know. Me and Will plan on redecorating it soon. But with the war and now Apollo...we didn't had much time."

"Maybe I can help you?" I lifted an eyebrow.

"Um, yeah. Yes that would be wonderful." He managed a tiny smile.

"So where do I sit? I know that Hazel comes over sometimes. I don't want to invade her privacy."

"Oh, she wouldn't mind. But, you can take the bunk bed on the right" He pointed towards it.

"Thanks!" I smiled and went to settle in. I didn't take many clothes from home but I had enough.

"I'm guessing that you and Will sleep in the big bed?" I asked.

A light blush crept on his cheeks. He scratched the back of his neck. He scratched the back of his neck. "I-Yes. I understand if you're not comfortable-" He started to ramble.

I instantly shushed him. "It's okay. Will told me about the nightmares. You're not disturbing me in any way." I nodded in insurance.

"Oh. That means a lot, Mary."

I winked. I don't have a problem with sleeping in the same room as my dads. When I was little, I had a terrible fear of the dark. I slept with them 'till I was about 9.

"Wait. Weren't you supposed to stay in the infirmary one more day?"

"Will said I was healed enough to stay in the cabin. But he forbid me to play Capture the Flag." I sighed. Capture the Flag was an amazing game. It is literally what the name says. There are two teams: Red and Blue. Each team has a team lider, obviously. It's like... basket. After the liders are chosen they will chose their team mates. Then, it goes like football. Each of us has a position. Some protect the flag, some are in the woods fight with the opponents. The goal is to get the other team's flag. Obviously.

"Cool. I won't have to stay alone. He forbid me, too. Said 'no underword-ly stuff. Doctor's orders.'" He said mocking Will's voice. I laughed. He may be depressed but his jokes are pretty good. He also uses a lot of hand gestures. After he met Magnus, Annabeth's cousin, my pap' started learning sign language. Magnus has this friend, Hearthstone, that's deaf. So, like a true friend, Magnus learned sign language for him.

As we were talking, Will came into the cabin. "They're voting for what we should play this afternoon. Wanna come to assist?"

I looked at Nico. He nodded. "Yeah. Let's go"

I may forgot to tell you something. Right now I'm recording the story. Someone will put it on paper. It sucks because now you know that I'll survive. I spoiled the whole story. Anyway, for the rest of the day nothing worth mentioning happened. The night became more interesting. After capture the Flag finished, we ate and went back to the cabin. All three of us.

"Sooooo, Will, how was Capture the Flag?" I asked him as I climbed in the bed. The top bed. I was more out of their sight. I wanted to start reading the rest of the book. They can't know that, that book even exists. I grabbed it when they weren't looking at shoved it under my pillow.
