Ω|PART 11| Ω

We slowly started to go deeper and deeper, 'till we couldn't hear the myrmekes anymore. From what I read that was supposed to be the ants' nest. After we would go through it, we would find the entrance to the Grove of Dodona, along with the missing demigods. We would have to face the ants' queen and Apollo would get us out of there, and earn the queen's trust by singing a gods' sad song. About his two great lovers, Daphne and Hyacinthus. About his grief and sorrow. Let's just hope that everything will be the same as in the book.

I started to walk faster, so I could leave Meg and Apollo on their own. Few minutes go by like that until Apollo ran and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Can we talk?" He asked me with a sweet smile.

"Sure?" I shrugged awkwardly.

"So, uh, I think I know something about you. I've seen the resemblance."

I frowned. "What? What could you possibly know about me? We met like... two hours ago."

He looked behind him, at Meg. She raised an eyebrow as she pretended to find her sword very interesting. Apollo rolled his eyes. He cleared his throat.

"As a god, I've heard of this before. Never actually seen it." He looked deeply into my eyes.

"For gods' sake Apollo, just say what is it!" I raised my hands in the air.

"Fine! I think you aren't from here." He whispered.

I chuckled. "If I'm not from here, from where am I from?"

"Not where. When. From WHEN are you from Mary? Though I doubt that's your real name."

My eyes widened. How in hell did he find out?! I have been more than careful. I gripped his arm as tight as I could, and glared at him. He winced in pain.

"Have you been going through my stuff?! You spying on me?" I whisper-shouted.

"Holy- no! You just look so much like Nico di Angelo. You have the same glare. Also, you claim to be a child of Hades, but I can feel that you're somehow also my...daughter. Legacy maybe?"

"Of course I look like Nico! I'm his sister!" I tried to lie.

"I don't think you are." He snatched his arm free. I sighed deeply.

"Fine. You're smart, Apollo. Have you told anyone else about this?" I nodded at Meg.

"No. I figured that you're keeping it a secret for a reason. Plus the time-line is very fragile."

"Good choice." I smirked.

"So, who are you?"

"Can't tell you that. Though I can tell you this: I'm from the next generation of demigods. The rest, you'll have to find out on your own."

"Wait, but if you're from the next generation then, that means that everyone will survive, which means that we'll win the war." He said, excited.

"You don't know that. I never told you who my parents are. From all you know everyone could be dead except my parents."

"GUYS! DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" Meg screamed.

"Hear what?" Apollo asked confused.

"In case you haven't noticed, Meg, we were having a conversa-" A loud hissing interrupted me. I instantly took out my dagger.
