"What do you MEAN he's MISSING." I jumped out of bed, looking at him with wide-open eyes. I was going to die. Felt my organs failing me. My body, especially my precious heart, stopped working properly.

"I-I woke up-up this m-morning and h-he wasn't h-here. S-s-so I assumed he w-went to the in-infirmary earlier. I went to c-check if h-he w-was okay, b-but when I a-asked someone from t-there, they said t-that t-they didn't see h-him. T-then I w-walked to the training a-area, assuming that he was t-training, b-but he was-wasn't there. So I a-asked Lou Ellen a-about it, and s-she said that she d-didn't even saw h-him leave the c-cabin. Then we b-both realized t-that the G-G-Grove t-took him" He stuttered. I muttered a curse. OF COURSE something HAD to happen. Was it really the Grove of Dodona or Hades? No, it couldn't be. Nico loved Will. Hades would never do something like that to his own son.

"If the Grove took him that means he's not dead. I'll go to Apollo. Get him and Meg, and go on that quest." I said with a determined look on my face. I went to the bathroom, change into some clothes that would make me look intimidating. I walked out, took my dagger out of the bag, and stormed out, searching for my future grandfather.

I quickly found him, in the infirmary chatting with Meg.

"APOLLO! We need to move!" I interrupted them rudely.

"Excuse me? Who are you?" Did he seriously looked offended?

"I'm Mary. Nico's half-sister. This morning your son, Will, he disappeared. I will come with you on the quest." I glared at him. Meg crossed her arms.

"No. We fine on our own" She scoffed at me.

"No offence, but you're a 12 year old girl with a 16 year old ex-god, who can't process the fact that he is not a god anymore." I gave her my best death-glare. I looked at Apollo. He seemed to be studding me.

"It's okay. She should come with us. The more the better." He looked at Meg.

She groaned. "Fine!" Then walked out, slamming the door shut.

"What the matter with her?" I asked confused.

"I don't know. She's always difficult. And totally not acting the way a 12-year old is supposed to act." He laughed. I chuckled. Once again, he eyed me.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him. Oh gods, he wasn't checking me out, was he? That's disgusting.

He cleared his throat. "Uh-yes. Yeah. C'mon, let's go! We need to save my kids." He hurried out of the room.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked as me, Apollo and Meg walked into the woods.

"Well... we go in there, try not to go crazy, get Will, Kayla and Austin free, walk out of there." Apollo said, He looked pretty positive about this.

"You are aware that things are never EVER that simple. We're probably going to be attacked before we even get into the Grove." I said casually, looking around. Meg glared at me. What's her problem?

"You don't know that for sure." Meg said.

"Yes. I. Do." I growled at her.

Apollo laughed. "Chill down, girls. How do you, Mary?" He raised an eyebrow.

My eyes widened. How do I know that?

"Just- Nico told me about some past quests. There is a pattern. It is that if thing are, seem too easy something terrible will happen."

Apollo rolled his eyes. "I am a god-"

"Was a god." Meg corrected.

"-was a god. I know what I'm doing." He placed his hand on his chest sincerely.

We walked in silence for about 10 minutes. You know in movies, that classic scenario, where some weird teenagers walk alone in the woods and suddenly they hear a stick cracking? Then they get murdered? I think you do.

"What was that?" I asked turning around.

"I'm sure it's nothing." Apollo brushed it off.

"Dude, have you EVER seen an action movie?" I asked as I took out my dagger. They were there. I scanned the area. Anytime it could've jumped at us.

"Ugh I hate this. Damn Zeus and his obsession with me!" Apollo looked at the sky. He took out his bow, as Meg transformed her rings into swords. There was a loud hissing, coming from every direction.

"One, he's not obsessed with you. Two, we are surrounded." I stated the obvious.

Suddenly a green liquid almost flew in our faces.

"WATCH OUT!" Meg yelled.

From behind a tree, an ant hissed at us. Pardon me, a giant ant. It was the size of a lion. I believe, in the book it was called a myrmeke. Don't really know the myth, but for some reason Zeus transformed a thief in an ant. This kind of ant.

"Apollo, what the hell are those things?" Meg asked.

"I don't- I don't know. I can't remember..." He slapped himself.

"Myrmekes. Giant ants as you can see. Don't let the venom touch you. It'll burn a lot." I glared at the myrmekes. Why I did that? I don't know. It's not like I could've scared them away. In the book also said that the entrance of the Grove was in that area. I desperately looked around trying to spot it. I slowly went behind Apollo and Meg, to get a better look. Suddenly my leg slipped into a hole. I gazed down, lifted my leg, and started to dig. Well, not exactly digging. The hole, which I assumed it was the entrance, was covered in mug and leaves.

"GUYS! I found it! I found the entrance." I yelled at them. They turned around and watched me go down the hole. I landed on my butt. Leaves were sticking out of my hair.

"You okay down there?" Asked Meg.

"Translation: Is it safe for me to go down there? And yes, Meg. You two can come. Though it's possible that we'll find more ants in here." I responded.

"GREAT!" Apollo screamed as he entered the tunnel, followed by Meg.
